Longest Time You've Played a Game

And I mean a straight run, biggest break being a quick pee-run.

Mine solo would have to be Shadow Of Colloseus. I was like on the fourth one, and just couldn't stop. I played for like 4 hours, a good hour spent on the final boss. Kept on getting to the stop, stabbing him, then falling down again. Lot's of "ah F@ck" moments, but a nice sense of achievement at the end.

Duo, i played Gears of War with my brother at the top difficulty level. We started at like 8pm, finished at 2am. We had to do the final mission like 5 times, cause my brohter would keep running out in the open yelling "I can get him, I can get him!" Best night ever.

So, what's the longest marathon you had? With what game? and was it worth it?

When I was in high school, I could pull a 10-hour shift on occasion, and then go to bed with a splitting headache. I think the longest I've pulled would be 12 hours with Baldur's Gate 2. I had a Doors CD on repeat, to this day I can't hear Morrison's voice without being taken back to Athkatla...

Hmmm... it's sad and I'm a little afraid to bring this one up but of course... World of Warcraft. In the middle of a quest or something and it's like 'just one more, one more i can do this' then 128 quests, 14 hours and 3 lvls later i can finally go to sleep.

Magic: the Gathering...in RL not online. It was at the Southeast Regional Qualifier in 2001.

We showed up at the site at 0800 and left it at 0300 the next day.

about 20 hours of Diablo 2 LOD. started at 10am finished at 6am because the computer crashed. I didn't felt fucked over. Just went to bed and slept.

Longest straight run? I've had a few 6+ hour marathons of Personas 3 and 4 but that's about it.

My longest overall playtime is probably 80 hours on Xenogears.

Probably about 3 hours for a TWL (Team Warfare League) match on Battlefield 2. Needless to say, we won by a mile.

OK, Lets see. I started playing Mass Effect on a Wensday at 8 pm. The next thing I know, I look up and it was Thursday afternoon, around 2 pm. So, adding that up, that would make it what, 18 hours, give or take. On average though, I normaly play for 8 to 10 hours on my days off. That was a rare instants that I really wanted to finish the game.

I hate to say it but I was home sick and played 7 hours of Kingdom Hearts 2. Mostly because I had nothing else new to play.

I played Spiderman 2 for 13-hours straght from about 8am to 9pm without eat or drinking the whole day. I didn't even feel hungry or anything while playing it but then my brother came in and said you do know its 9 right and then I was suddenly REALLY hungry.

Duo I had a friend round and we played on SSBB from 3PM to 3 AM. (It was kinda fun to see how we had to lower the level of the CPU as we got more and more tired.) After 3AM we went to sleep got up at 7AM and played until noon. Thats probably the most ive played in 24 hours but its broken by sleep.

Uggh, 2 straight days of nothing but Monster Hunter! OMG those where the good days, and yes, i only stopped to go to the washroom real fast, and maybe get some food, and that was it.
God I miss playing that online....

I played (watched?) MGS4 from 8:00 pm to about 8:00 am. Totally worth it but trying to comprehend the story in my sleep deprived state, man that was hard.

I completed Ratched and Clank 2 twice in one sitting, stocked myself up with drinks and food and emerged from my room some time later to find that i had been declared legaly dead (sorry). I couldn't give you an estimate in hours because it was a number of years ago

My housemate and I went through Perfect Dark Zero the other night in one sitting. That was... 8 hours I guess?

We also did the same with Gears of War last night (just over 8 hours), to which we then went on to play Dead Space for a bit longer. I think that was just under 12 hours total.

I think they're bordering on the longest playing sessions. Although I've done many 6+ hour stints on the 360 before. 8-9pm to 3-4am seems to be my optimum time.

25+ COntinuous hours once on BF1942. Between swtiching from vBF1942, Road to Rome, Secret Weapons, and Desert Combat, there was plenty to keep you busy.
