I beat the entire Gears Of War 2 campaign on hardcore with "Evil Raven665"

12 1/2 hours straight.

Each of us had 2 energy drinks, a lot of mountain dew, 6 arby's melts **(roast beef sandwich with melted cheese)

And nobody had to piss.

And to add to that, it was the release day, just incase you didn't already assume.

I'll go with Mass Effect, and I ended up playing for about 7 hours before realizing it was in the early hours of the morning.

Mine would be on Guild Wars. It was 16 hours. Every hour the game tells you how long you have been playing each hour and after two it tells you to take a break. I looked at my chat box and saw... "You have been playing for 16 hours. Please take a break" and at that point I thought it was definitely time to go to bed. It was just one of those days where nothing is happening in the real world and I had just got Eye of the North expansion.

My longest runs probably took place in Tribes. I got that game the summer before I had to start working so I had nothing but free time. I spent many a day playing that game like a marathon runner, subsisting off nothing but pretzels and ginger ale, and holding out on going to the bathroom until a map change (often matches took an hour or more). I'm surprised I didn't die as a direct result.

When I was in Jr. High and had to save up my money to be able to rent SNES games, I would rent a game on friday night and beat it in one sitting. I don't mean quick little games either. I'm talking RPGs. I beat FF3 (for the SNES, it was 6 otherwise) in a little over 16 hours, but that is not even close to my longest marathon.

27 hour Battlefield 2142 streak...maybe not continuous as I'd suddenly be playing one map then another so I might have kept nodding off...does grabbing crisps while returning from the pee-break break the rules?

N the reason I played this long is I wanted Gold on 2 different badges that took collectively that time

Back in the old days I would occassionally play counterstrike for about 12 hours straight. It would only happen in school if no one was around and I didn't have any late classes, I'd play from 2pm-2am (or later as the case may be). It wasn't often, but It was definitely more than once.

Yeah I just bought the box that comes with original and Eye of the North Expansion. Do you have to go through the Prophecies story first before you can go to Eye of the North?

Nope, you must be level 10. That's all. And access to Lion's Arch.

For me, it was Neverwinter Nights and Diablo 2.

NwN - I woke up at 8, played it till... 11pm, I think.

Diablo 2 was 10 hours straight, started at 12am and played till 8pm.

I dont know about constant playing, but the longest time ive spent on a playthough would probly be Stalker. I think my longest non stop stint was around 4 hours on a few games. Counter strike would be one but i cant think of any others

I played Maplestory for 3 years. Longest time nonstop: 14 hours. Yes. Fourteen. I woke up early.
*shudder*
I would probably be graduating at the end of the month if I hadn't wasted my life like that..

28 and a half hours. Complete playthrough of FFVII from beginning to end, saving only before Sephiroth.

I read in a magazine someone said they did it in less than 24 hours, which the magazine (GamePlayers I think it was) called BS on, claiming it couldn't be done in less than 30. I agreed that it was BS, but I thought I might be able to break the 30hour mark. Was rough and I was dead tired. Thankfully I had played through the game 10 times prior, so I knew every little thing I needed to do.

My friends and I played Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for 14 hours STRAIGHT. We had to stop because the Xbox overheated.
