So, the question is rather simple, what is the longest duration of time you've gone without eating any food at all? I've gone 7 days without food or drink except water. It was very difficult about midway through then you sort of get used to it. Unfortunately for me, with my high metabolism, I lost 14 pounds because of it >_<

Edit: For reference, I only weigh 140 pounds (63.6 kg) so 14 pounds is 10% of my body weight.

An entire week.

Although I was in the hospital, and still had an IV giving me nutrients.

And before (late) today, I hadn't eaten for a couple days.

"When two or more Wobbuffet meet, they tend to turn competitive in some kind of playing and will often try to test each others' endurance. These tests of endurance can include a competition to see who can go the longest without eating, which their trainers should be wary about. "

Yeah I had the same thing except mine was ten days. Apparently human beings don't need to eat anymore to live. Fancy that.

Probably 3-5 days, I was in the hospital getting chemotherapy and that really kills your appetite. I think I've lost probably 20 pounds since starting it, which isn't all that bad considering it's about to be over.

I think it was about 3 days... really messed up sleep schedual had me sleep through one day, and after that I just kinda... forgot. I normally only eat one meal a day anyway (yeah I know it's not healthy, I just don't care) so if I'm not hungry when it's dinner time... meh, skip it.

Is this a by choice thing? Because I had to only drink soup for a week once due to a stomach virus.

By choice....

Not very long at all. However long I've slept at night.

I'd forget after about five minutes that I was trying to stave off food, but I'd have to go with 19 hours. Wake up, go to school, come home, game until dinner.

About 36-24 hours, every three to four days. For a year.
(ie, I would eat for two days, then not eat (or drink anything but water) for one. Rinse and repeat 120 times.)

Two days. I was very busy planning a family event, and wasn't feeling at all hungry. But afterwords I was ravenous. lol Had a cheeseburger AND chili fries AND a large iced tea. It was soooo delicious.

About a day i think. Even if I'm not feeling hungry, and I go through times when I'm just not, I'll eventually force myself to eat something, even if it isn't much.

I'd always wondered whether enduring the Lent was actually possible without keeling over, and two years ago my curiosity got the better of me. I went 40 days without consuming solid matter, and it was a *****. The pain of hunger became negligible after a few days, but seeing everyone else enjoying their food while I was stuck with my liquid source of nutrition (mix of water, lemon juice and maple syrup) was rather unpleasant. I remember nearly being driven insane by the smell of baking bread.
All in all, a successful experiment, but not one I'd care to repeat. Ever.
