Hello there; I recently made a thread called
'Looking for a new rpg'

and whilst it had good sucess, I have decided I want to look for a new MMO game. Please suggest any of good taste towards you or others; the ones I have already tried/played are;

-WoW
-runescape
-maplestory
-eve
-everquest
-guild wars
-D+D online

and the majority of the popular ones. So keep suggesting I guess, thank you :) <3

Rift was enjoyable to me, it was new and refreshing after playing WoW, Eve, Lord of the rings online, Runescape in the sense it incorporated a lot from them but made changes in the right aspects. Just pick a high populated server :)

I played Perfect World for a while, and I liked it. That was some time ago, so I don't know how much it has changed, but you should check it out. It's free to play too.

DCUO is fun, if a little lacking in content. With a level cap of 30, it's not to long before you get to the end game content. But that time is FUN.

If you're in the states, give Vindictus a go - pretty much 3rd person Diablo-esque gameplay, free to play.

Been waiting for them to open their European servers for a year now, some companies are more 'tardy' than others.. -.-

If you're looking for a traditional MMO, you can't get much better than Rift.

If you're looking for mindless hackyslashy funtime, give Vindictus a whirl.

Fallen Earth is gonna go F2P, Age of Conan is already F2P. Worth a try anyways.

I'd get vindictus, but make sure you update it regularily, or else the update times will be horrible!

I'll toss in All Points Bulletin: Reloaded.

It's an MMO Third Person Shooter / Cops and Robbers style game that lets you customize the hell out of anything, run around robbing electronics stores and random people on the street (if your a criminal anyways.)

It's a full world PVP game so if your not into fighting actual players you may want to avoid it but everything I've seen from it looks great.

http://www.gamersfirst.com/apb/ Their website

http://www.zam.com/bffreport.html?bffreport=73 Fony gives the F2P model a check.

I'm enjoying Rift atm.
Been playing less than a month, but it's pretty good. It keeps a lot of downsides that it seems to have copied directly from WoW (boring quests, level grind, two-faction dynamics, over-simplistic raid group dynamic), but does have a lot that works well, the best of which is the Rifts - random enemy attacks that can be anywhere between a single enemy spawner that requires closing to a full-on invasion.
When the Rifts turn up, joining with lots of other people to take down a huge mutant lobster creates a great sense of belonging.

I'll recommend the relaunched Hellgate. Servers abit laggy atm but otherwise superfuntime.
Apb: Reloaded, something worth cheking out.

Or you could always just close your eyes and wish very hard that you were playing Guild Wars 2 already..

Have you got a link to Hellgate? Is it similar to how the game played before? I loved Hellgate :/

Another DCUO fan here. Love the action based combat-- none of this "click, wait for cooldown" stuff. Actually, I think the game begins in earnest at level 30-- that's when you really get into the multiplayer aspect. Before that, the majority of time you end up soloing (hopefully the server merge should help that, though). One thing you have to understand about DCUO is that after you hit 30, you still have a looooong way to go with your toon. Most of the strength of a char comes from skill points from doing feats (like finishing raids or finding collections) and getting tier armor. A freshly minted lvl 30 won't last through a hard alert.

Another superhero game I like is Champs Online. And it's F2P, so no reason not to take a look at it. Very non-serious feeling to it, but hey, sometimes that's what you want (and you got to love the way NPCs run up to you and tell you how awesome you are)

There you go http://hellgate.t3fun.com/Home/Home.aspx

I haven't really played much of the original one, but from what i can tell its been greatly improved with lots of new content added atop the original london, and stonehenge, including 2nd attack, abyss and tokyo. It does however cost about 4$ one time payment to be able to progress from act 2 onward, or you can just buy the ticket with ingame money @ AH.
