So yeah, as the title says. I'm looking for a site that'll let me design a shirt (preferably with an on site designer) and sell it through them. Any suggestions? Any experience with such a site?

(if this causes trouble with the mods, I'm sorry, I'm just looking for people's suggestions and opinions on the matter)

I thiink this belongs more in the advice forums, but seriously, just use a search engine. Type, "custom shirts" or something like that.

Try redbubble I'm not sure how it works but they seem to do loads of stickers and shirts.

I buy things from there a lot.

Yeah, the stickers are more like decals (they have a rubbery backing) and the t shirts are good.

Spreadshirt is another site for printing t-shirts, and the couple of shirts I got from them were good. Though I think they are based in Germany, which might be problematic for Americans.

These sites tend to be one step up from scam, and if you want to make any real money, you might want to think of another idea.

Does it have to be online? This is one of those things where you can actually support a local business. Pretty much every town has at least one shop that prints custom T-shirts and designs logos. They get most of their business from schools (chorus T-shirts, band T-shirts, club T-shirts...) but they'll do business with anyone. Check your phone book for print shops, or if you don't have a phone book, yellowpages.com.

Edit: Missed the part about selling it through the same site, instead of something like Amazon or at concerts (say you have a band and you want T-shirts for it). That's a different story, and I have no idea how to go about doing that.

I'd just like to say you're awesome for even suggesting that.
<--- Just so happens to work at a locally owned printing company and pretty much everything you just said is true.
-----------------

OT: Quite a few of our customers will use the design lab on this website [http://www.customink.com/],
Then bring the print out in for us to actually make the shirts.

I don't know of any sites that you can both make a shirt AND sell it on,
but there are plenty of online sites that you can make the shirts and other sites that you can sell the shirts on.
Why not just get the shirts printed yourself and sell them on a website yourself?

If you really want an awesome shirt, you can pay a local shirt company to design it for you, quite a few of them employ
in-house artist for just such a purpose *cough* *cough*, or you can hire a freelancer. *cough* *cough*
