Looking for an old-school (style) PC CRPG

Mask of Eternity was an interesting game. It mixed classic adventure games with CRPGs. King's quest fans hated it, I thought it was alright. Gothic is on my played list up there

Ah I didn't see it, sorry. But yeah, Mask of Eternity is alright from what little I can remember it just shouldn't have been called King's Quest.

I'd argue that Wizardry is still alive and well, just now it's made in Japan. I'm actively studying Japanese for it, (and PSO2...). It seems like a lot of WRPGs/PCRPGs are produced there, but I don't know about translations or if you mind playing in another language (PCRPGs are usually pretty puzzle/text heavy, so I certainly could understand if language was a barrier...)
