I have no idea where is the most appropriate place to post about this, so I'll just post here. Basically Im looking for an online RPG with low system requirements. Something like MU online or Ragnarok Online. My PC is pretty weak and has only 1 GB of RAM.

So if anyone knows of an online RPG like that, Im all ears.

If you're on Windows XP, you may meet the requirements for Wizardry Online. It's free and is a relatively small download so it can't hurt to try. It's a fun game, too. Decent combat and between the open PVP and chance at permadeath it's very tense.

Surprisingly, there are hardly any griefers. I think everyone's too frightened to attack each other XD

I cant upgrade yet but there must be some online RPG out there that my computer could run eh? I tried playing a game called Maple Story but its working very slowly. I used to be able to play it before, but now its way too slow.

Is it the RAM that matters the most to run games fast??

Are you sure that game would work for me? I just checked that game's system requirements somewhere, and they are very demanding. Also yes I use XP.

1GB of RAM isn't really enough information. The PS3 and 360 only have 512MB of RAM and they run their modern RPG's without a problem (mostly).

What are the rest of your PC specs i.e. processor and graphics device?

Those are the most essential pieces of information with regards to a game's system requirements.

Well, all I have to go on is your RAM, which meets the requirements. What processor and graphics card do you have?

If it used to run fine but now it's going more slowly, maybe there's an issue with your PC? Try defragmenting, scanning for malware or cleaning the registry or something.

RAM is important but the processor and graphics card are very important, too.

Realm of the Mad God
Eudemons Online
Conquer Online
Runescape (although I think the system requirements are now a lot higher than when I played it)

It helps more if you post detailed specs for your PC but these should play on most things.

I have processor Pentium4 2.40GHz, 1GB ram and nvidia graphics card. Im just looking for an old online RPG with poor graphics so the game would work fast. I tried playing MU online and it worked completely fine on this computer. Its just that I got bored of that game. I guess I'd have to play it though if I cant find anything else that works fast.

Ive tried Eudemons Online before. It worked well but I got bored of the game very fast. It had a very dull and repetitive combat and I hated that. But Im gonna try Conquer Online now though. Im downloading it right now. It seems like it would work well, but we'll see. Thanks for the help man.

There's always runescape...

there was an old MMORPG when I was in middle school a friend told me about, IIRC it was called Wyvern and I've looked for it recently but just CANNOT find it.

I'll recommend you Minions of Mirth- it's fun, one time pay MMO that draws very strong inspiration from original Everquest. It's fun, if you like that kind of thing.

I think you meet the requirements for Grand Fantasia. It's a decent game, but not amazing. The music is really nice and the community was friendly when I played it.

Ah, not gonna lie man, if you hated Eudemons you will probably hate Conquer since it's basically the same game but with different backgrounds haha.

I see. Well.....I'll try it anyway, it might be less boring than Eudemons. If its worse thoguh, I'd just stick with Eudemons then. I liked the eudemon animal that follows you everywhere eheheheh. I dont know what kind of features Conquer has though. Can you tell me a little about Conquer Online eh?

I'd definitely go with Realm of the Mad God. Very low graphics and simple gameplay, but quite addictive and fun. Prepare for perma-death, though.

Realm of the Mad God thirded. Such a fun little bullet hell MMO that's free on Steam and in a browser.
