Well since you clearly haven't been outside in over a decade... I'm gonna have to recommend that.

Seriously you appear to have played enough MMO's to last four life times.

Hey! I recently came to know about this really great MMO thats been around for really long but isnt popular yet for some strange reason.

Its called : Real Life: Existence.

Its servers have been running for ages!It has over 7 billion online players and a world area of about 148,940,000 km2 and water area of 361,132,000 km2 for your terrestrial and aquatic exploration pleasure. It has over 8.7 million different species of generated animal types each with different abilities, body shape and hit points scattered over the land and water masses for hunting, gathering, capturing, domesticating etc..

You have 243 kingdoms that you can choose to live in each with its own 10000 year history and raging current political campaigns that you can choose to be a part of in over 100,000 different professions from warriors to engineers to strippers to astronauts! The list is endless. The crafting system is limited only by the current state of advancement and new tech trees are added everyday!

The world is drawn in detail and the graphics are FREAKIN AMAZING!! But it runs on all specs. the Brightness and Colour Perception can change depending on your own current state of the software, but it has been optimized for all hardware.

There is a plethora of quests on offer ,with all kind of game modes possible including tag, group, horde or anything you can think of! The ingame scripting language is simple to understand but hard to master but yields rich returns once you learn all the intricacies of the bits and bytes.

The character creation and customization is infinite in its scope and the personality can be refreshed anytime in game and changed according to your liking.

ANd best of all it is FREEE!!.Absolutely FREE!!.As long as you can recharge your health meter every now and again, you can continue playing. But the thing is you only get one player profile and there are no save games. The game comes with a limited playtime,so you better hurry before your subscription expires.

Play and tell me what you think!!! :) :)

how about Pirates of the Burning Sea?

If you're interested in naval combat in 1720s, then do look it up! Heavily PvP orientated, as well as RvR.

Depends, if you need an MMO now, I hear Dragon Nest [http://dragonnest.nexon.net/] is fun, very twitchy action combat. I've also heard some good things about Rusty Hearts [http://rustyhearts.perfectworld.com/].

But the ones you really should be looking at if you're bored with current MMOs are Guild Wars 2 [http://www.guildwars2.com/en/], The Secret World [http://www.thesecretworld.com/], and WildStar [http://www.wildstar-online.com/en/]. All three change the "formula" rather dramatically, and should be releasing sometime in the next year, give or take.

The Old Republic [http://www.swtor.com/] is worth mentioning because it will be very good, but also very "traditional".

I can also recommend looking into Firefall [http://www.firefallthegame.com/home]. It's more shooter than MMO, but it's definitely massive, multiplayer, and online.

While your jokes at my lack of a life are so tasteful and original, that doesnt resolve my problem.

EDIT: also, to those of you suggesting things, thanks :)

Nah it's not all it's cracked up to be. You can't choose race at the beginning, and the class system is so convoluted it takes years for anyone to settle into one. And random grouping is actually frowned upon.

Not only that, but the graphics don't work that well with my hardware. I have to use these stupid glass peripherals to look at all the content.

And the GM support is terrible. I haven't recieved a single reply to any of my bug reports, and I don't even know who the lead dev is; all the player mentor's seem to be playing completely different games to each other.

I will say that the bedroom mini-game is fantastic though.

It might, if you followed the serious advice behind the not so serious wording :D

Dynasty Warriors Online.
Pretty damn good and if they loosened the time limits per mission then I would still be playing.
I'd reccomend this if he didn't say he was Australian...
The game's too time sensitive for Aussies to be able to enjoy it with the usual lag associated with Aeria Games...

I would reccommend Faxion, I've played tons more MMORPGs then you listed and I thought Faxion was pretty much the best MMORPG I'd played since I was a little kid amazed by Runescape...
But the company making Faxion was bought by Disney, the entire dev team on Faxion were laid off and the servers got shut down T.T

At the moment I'm just playing through Dragon Saga again with a few mates, but it's not that great...

Spiral Knights on Steam. Started some days ago, it's completly free, it's very entertaining, quick progression, fulfilling adventures, going solo or partying, and you get a hat in TF2!
And everything looks kinda cute. :3

Fallen Earth is going free to play soon... and it doesn't hold your hand like most MMOs... no class system, huge game world, focus on scavenging and crafting... a lot of do-it-yourself attitude to it.

So if you prefer convenience over verisimilitude, don't bother. I'm enjoying it, though. The sheer number of options available in the game are incredible.

**edit** also, it's rated "M" in the states, so I'm not sure if Australia would nanny-block it or not...

**edit2** it's a bit of a third-person shooter. More along the lines of Fallout3/NV than a pure shooter, though. Very, very RPG.
