Looking for DnD players, thread done with PM me instead

Figuring since it's an RPG this would be the right place apologies if it isn't.

I've been trying to find a DnD to get a DnD group together and it hit me, why not do it online. I know there's some kind of internet grid thing out there. I wouldn't want to DM so an experienced DM would be needed and 4 other players.

The fun part would be scheduling it so available days and times would be helpful if you want to try this.

I've only played DnD 3.0 a few times with my brother and a couple of friends, but I would be really interested in this. I am not sure how playing online would work, but I would love to play. Let me know if this works out?

EDIT: I'm also interested in how online works. Can you let us know the specifics? Hopefully we can get something worked out. I'm looking forward to this.

I love D&D and I never get to play anymore, I'd love to do it

I got distracted by all sorts of stuff and completely forgot about this. How it would work (I hope) is there may or may not be a program that would let everyone see the grid layout in real time (/tg/ has yet to get back to me on that) Skype for the whole communication part and a user group on here for rolling the dice.

/tg/ informs me of maptool [http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=maptool] which sounds like it'll work perfectly.

In the group we're looking for a DM currently :/ You can join though Just saying nothing's started because of the DMless situation...at least that's what I've been told.

THere is the actual user group mentioned above and then there is the group for people who showed intrest in this thread. Two groups, one theme.

I have never DM'd before, but I'm willing to try/ co-DM with someone else if no one else will.
