Hope this isn't a silly question, but do Indians(from India) count as Asians?
I live in the UAE and I have no idea if us Indians fall under the Asian category in North America.

Given that whenever I've seen someone from there refer to Asians, it's generally for someone who's Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai etc.
Protip:

If it's East of Constantinople, it's in Asia. Although, I suspect the OP was talking about East Asians rather than Asians in general (that would include Indians, Middle Easterners, etc.)

I'd love to participate in this survey, but there isn't a "none" option for sexual attraction. I cannot answer truthfully and would prefer not to skew your results.

That eye section was difficult, because I generally had a different word for every expression; plus I think one of them was Keanu Reeves?

There is only so many ways I can see "woman looking at me from the side" and have different impressions.

It's a survey for a British university, and in Britain, Indians are most definitely Asian.

In Britain, Asian really just refers to South Asians, e.g. Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi etc. (and what other catch-all term is there apart from Asian?).

East Asians are generally referred to as Oriental as a catch-all term (since that's what the word means), or use their specific country as an identifier e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai etc.

I will say, the "in their place" bits are upsetting to me far more than I think they should be. It's automatically skewing my responses toward the "disagree" column on emotion alone.

Aside from that, the eyes section is...somewhat confusing? Some of the choices don't seem to align too well with what I was seeing. Wound up just picking the "closest to it" option in a few cases. Others were pretty clear cut.

Then again, this may just be me being screwed up.

It's kind of funny that a few people say they couldn't tell any difference between most of the female expressions, because I really didn't have trouble with any of them but a few- same as with the males. And I'm a guy.

I had trouble with the faces. Then again part of the questions sounded like they were aiming to find autistics.

I also was a little unhappy with the choices. Of everything I guess I'm pretty much asexual? Mostly. Or at least a heterosexual person completely not down to get down with anyone ever. I was annoyed that the options were so limited.

And six option questions?! Come on that's not a good way to go, you just give people too many options at that point!

And can we talk about how you switched which side Strong Agree - Strongly Disagree was on? That's just a bad format, a lot of people are going to assume it's the same and put the opposite of what they believe! You can't even really use that if you think about it.

I'm terrible at reading people's faces, to be honest I had no idea what expressions most of those eyes represented and I mostly chose at random, seriously.

Would have appreciated non-answer towards sexuality because I don't ever answer that question, I don't think I identify as anything but every single time somebody has asked me that I simply give an evasive or just straight up don't answer, because... I don't know, I just hate answering that question and whatever I answered didn't feel truthful, but that's OK I guess.
To be honest it's pretty hard to answer considering that I've only had one girlfriend but I've also only ever done it with a man and it's not something I normally think about...

Eh.. I guess it doesn't matter anyway.

To be honest, if I could still look sexually ambiguous I'd probably do it, I mean there's a reason why I did that when I was younger, doesn't fit how I look now though, but that's kinda weird because I legitimately like how I look, so I don't know, I like how I looked before too so I guess it doesn't matter.

Just out of curiosity, what is the reasoning behind conducting this survey on a gaming/geek-culture forum?

Whelp, I did the survey. I kinda wish there was more discussion value to this thread though, as it is an interesting topic.
Here's some discussion. I thought there were faaaar too many faces! I was literally starting to fall asleep while doing page upon page of faces (I was doing the thing quite late in the evening).
