Okay... Much as this seems like a troll, I could always recommend what I'm playing, as a girl.
Dragon Age: Origins? Hey, Alistair being romanceable is nice. I mean, aside from the dragon killing and stuff. He's pretty sweet.

I speak on behalf of all EscapistGirls!
I look for PS3, minis and PSN Games directed to girls. Anybody knows good Game-Titles for PS3? I mean like Flower or Little Big Planet. (Why there are'nt enough on GirlsGames market?/We're animals or what?!)
Kisses!
i don't think your gender should affect your gaming tastes. =/

Should I change it for "I speak on behalf on 60% Girls on Escapist"?
83% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Also I don't see a legitimate way tot respond to this thread. Everyone else has said what I think about how gender doesn't define what kind of games you like.
it's true

I'm sorry, but I don't really like other people speaking on my behalf, especially a girly-girl. *twitch*

As for recommendations regarding your examples.... I think that you would enjoy the PS2 library of games a bit more. Such titles include: Odin Sphere, the Jak and Daxter series, Okami, the Kingdom Hearts series, and the Tales series. To be honest (from what I've observed) the PS3 is marketed toward the hardcore DUDE demographic (not that that conclusion is written in stone or anything) but it seems to me like the only thing that the blu-ray processing power of that big black monster of a console is mainly geared toward displaying the vibrant gritty realism of blowing someone's face off. (Then again, that's just my opinion. :3 Take it as you will.)

Now, I know I'm wrong and there are plenty of games out there that celebrate the PS3's processing power toward enhancing art direction...I just haven't seen very many (probably because they aren't marketed as often as the big-name games out there...but then again, I don't own a PS3, my boyfriend does. :D)

If you really want games for the PS3 that are focused more so on the art style, I would recommend the following games: the Assassin's Creed series, Final Fantasy XIII, Eternal Sonata, Blazblue: Continuum Shift, Dragon Age Origins, The Elder Scrolls IV, Katamari Forever, Mirror's Edge, the Prince of Persia series, the Sly Cooper compilation, Sonic IV, and the Tales of Vespeira.

OH GOD THE HORRIBLE RAPING OF A DECENT IMAGE COURTESY OF PHOTOSHOP!!! *runs screaming into the night*

Assassins Creed 2 is a good game, I know girls who like it.:p
Yeah, I do too.
I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry.
But could it be the one with the signed Brotherhood poster and the statue of Ezio on top of her television? Because, well, hi.

OT; There aren't more good girly games out there is because you're talking about casual games and you have a PS3. If those are the kinds of games you want, get a Wii, because you aren't suited to the gaming 'community', and PlayStation really isn't the console for you. Not being mean, just being honest.
I would just like to point out, as well, that you do not speak for 60% of us female gamers. You speak for probably about or more than 60% of all women who play games - but that includes moms who play Bejewled and six year old girls with DSs. Almost all women on the Escapist, in my experience, prefers mainstream games to 'pink games'.
