I am trying to find a Sci-Fi to occupy my time for awhile and I need some suggestions! Any PC game will do. I will either purchase it off amazon or download it of the webs but I need a sci-fi game to play!

Well give us something to work with...

What's your budget?
What type of sci-fi are you looking for? (e.g. FPS? RPG? RTS? MMO? etc)
What other games have you liked in the sci-fi genre?

There's always some Star Trek or Star Wars game on the PC you could look at.

Here's some I would suggest

Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 - Jedi Outcast (FPS/TPS)

Star Trek: Elite Force (FPS)

Star Wars: Battlefront (TPS)

Star Trek: Armada (RTS)

Star Trek: Starfleet Command (Tactical Ship Simulator)

Freespace 1-2 (Space Flight Arcade Simulator)

Descent 1-3 (Space Flight Arcade Simulator)

You can also check out Miner Wars 2081 if you like the last two above.

Well with something as broad as that I can think of a few anything with Star Wars in the name, anything with Star Trek in the name, Fallout,Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Deus Ex, Human Revolution, Future Wars, Portal, Half life, Starcraft, Command and conquer, Darkest of days, Rage, Dead space, Transformers: War for Cybertron, Singularity, System shock, Bioshock, The Chronicles of Riddick games, you know you should likely limit your field because this is all things off the top of my head that are classified as Sci-Fi to a degree.

Yea ok, You crazy.
whats wrong with masters of orion? Its like Hearts of iron or crusader kings in space?
Oh, it's a good series, but everyone hates the 3rd game with a passion. I've never the played it myself, but every mention I've ever seen of it until now was in connection with what a disappointment and absurdly terrible game it is.

Vega Strike. It's like wing commander privateer but with different factions and ship sets and a randomly generated universe. Oh, and it's freeware. Have fun.

Pretty much like the above game except without the randomly generated universe and an isometric 2d view. Actually, maybe it generates new universes too. Maybe. Well, it's also free so you get a lot of bang for your nothing.

Mass Effect? the first ones shooting was pretty bad, but the story was very good and the secound one kind-of fixed the shooting. No.3 is excellent, if a bit confusing
Bioshock. everyone should play this game
hmmmmm..not really familiar with older games

Get the Endless Space alpha on steam and get in at the ground floor. ;)
Also, Homeworld.

Uh, well, I can think of 2 slightly obscure ones that haven't been mentioned yet.
Freelancer. Well, it's a space flight sim with in a sandbox. It can be played from a first person view, so it counts.
And Sword of the Stars, it's a 4X game, but the battles are in real time, so that counts too.

Captcha: Very much on topic: "roast beef" No captcha, I'm not hungry.

people dont just hate it with a passion people hunt down copies and destroy them, i know i have.

my suggestion would be crusader no remorse/crusader no regret very old games, and they still kick the ass of modern games
it wasn't that anyway, number 1 was the best but 3 has its own special merits. Cant say the same for mass effect :D

Star Ruler is my current love. If you've got a good pc you can have insanely large maps. It has a few problems still but it's an incredible game and pretty cheap.

When it was originally released it felt incomplete but now it's had a ton of improvements and it is very good.

Sins of a Solar Empire is a series I'd recommend. You can either shell out 20 dollars for Trinity, which is the basic Sins and it's two micro-expansions (Entrenchment and Diplomacy) bundled together, or wait for Tuesday and get Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, which is everything from Trinity plus the new content of Rebellion, though Rebellion is also 40 dollars.
