So, I remember playing these specific games with my friends when I was younger. Unfortunately, I don't have contact to those guys anymore. I'll describe them - if it rings a bell, PLEASE tell me, it's been bugging me a lot.
So, the first one: it might have been a demo for a full game - it was on a weird disc full of both demos and full games. It was a PS1 game, if I remember correctly. It was a sort of combat arena game. The characters were quite distinct: there was that rhino-esque thing (special ability: fart! and block that area off with it), a circular-saw-man who could shoot small circular saws as his main attack and leave bigger ones for area denial, a raptor who could hatch small versions of himself to help him and a helicopter that I remember being super OP. There were teleporters on the map.
Second game (PS1): you play robots with two different modes - a sort of mobile mode where you look like a hover car and a robot mode where you can fight. You had a base, it was sort of tower defense/MOBA (before MOBA became a thing). Claiming turrets gave you points, which you could spend on tanks (essentially minions attacking the enemy base) or flying units (to protect your base). You could also claim new bases and with enough points get unique units - a huge tank and a gigantic plane (I think it was called the "Skylord", but maybe we just made that up).
EDIT: Found that one - Future Cop. Turns out we only ever played multiplayer and the plane is called "SkyCaptain".
