Unfortunately I can't sit here and name off every one of them that I have seen, but we can start making a list and we can share what we have and haven't seen.

I will start. Just watched this last night. Pretty funny but Cary Grant starts to wear on your by the end with his over the top acting.

My god, I cannot stress the awesomeness of this movie enough! It will be the best british crime comedy you will ever see! Seriously, look at this scene:Gaze upon Ralph Fiennes as though he were a god!

Thanks again for mentioning this one. I really enjoyed it. Very good film. It was pretty deep and very witty.

Another movie for you guys. Though if you haven't seen this one then your life is incomplete.

American Beauty, Black Swan and Jennifer's Body are three really good ones off the top of my head.

What on earth... I don't think you have even seen that if you think it's a anything other than terrible shite.

I'd suggest Defendor, a movie about a developmentally challenged superhero. Very darkly humorous when it's not merely dark.

Probably my favourite movie of 2010 was Kick-Ass, and it works both as a dark comedy and as an action movie. A dark action comedy, if you will.

Other than that, Fargo get's my vote. It's an awesome movie.

What? Are we thinking about the same movie? As in, the one where Megan Fox and Amanda Seifried make out?

Outside of films I recommend Chris Morris' TV series 'Jam', as well as the preceding radio show 'Blue Jam'. Wikipedia can sum it up better than I can, "[consisting] of a series of unsettling sketches unfolding over an ambient soundtrack."

It's a British series, so I don't know if that will dissuade you if you are from another country. British comedy shows usually have that effect and the humour can sometimes be hard to understand if you haven't lived in Britain.

Nevertheless it is surreal, completely unique, unsettling but grimly funny and about as dark as you can get on TV really.

Clue [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088930/]. Yes, a movie based on the board game. It has Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd, what more need be said?

Yeah, I just couldn't believe Megan Fox as a talentless character that only got anywhere due to supposedly being attractive.

Obscure little movie, I know. Nevertheless, it's so much fun.
It's mostly comedy but you do get some genuine horror moments.
Watch it if you want to be entertained.

That doesn't make it either a dark comedy or a good film. it just means there is a 20 second loop that you like to fap too.

One of the best dark comedies has to be "Dr Strange Love or How I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb"

Grosse Pointe Blank, its about a neurotic hitman that returns to the town he grew up in for his high school reunion.

Oh and if you like your humour really dark try Pyschoville or League of Gentlemen

Tommy Wiseau's The Room. The director describes it as a dark comedy, but I think that's just his way of not admitting that his attempt at serious heartbreaking drama turned out one of the worst movies ever. Thankfully, it's one of those "So intelligence-insultingly terrible it's actually hilarious" kind of bad. I'll let this scene speak for itself:

If you're looking for movies worth more than just a cheap "What is this I don't even?!" sort of laugh, Fight Club is pretty darkly comical at times (and when it's not it's just an all around excellent movie). Zombieland is also definitely worth a watch. It turned out really, really good for a first time director.
