Fable 2.

Though after 1, I'll reserve a bit of cynicism right up until I play it.
I didn't like the first one much, but this one looks alot better. Plus I want to shoot my dog after makeing it go play fetch. "Here buy, catch" BANG - death.
So...you want to play Spore and make a bunch of penis people, and you want to play Fable 2 and shoot a dog at the apex of its happiness. Right. Anonymous internet person...you need help.

Anyhow, looking forward to Fallout 3, Spore and GTAIV.

Fallout 3?

FALLOUT 3!?!

A travesty I say. I don't like what I hear from the previews they have been showing. They are trying to "take it mainstream" so it's most likely going to blow. It's been turned into a console game from the looks of it. I'll try it when it comes out, but they are not getting any of my money for that one. Have you seen what they turned the super-mutants into? I need to stop now before I start yelling.

Spore looks cool, if it ever comes out. GTA 4 looks pretty nice too.

I'm also waiting for Pirates of the Burning Sea to come out finally. That and Warhammer: Online.

I've got a few on my list..

Sins of a Solar Empire - I've got high hopes for this one. Deep space games have been pretty lacking, and Sins has been looking like a fun mix between a Real Time Strategy game and a 4X game. Homeworld 2 was the last strategy game in space I really like, and that came out years ago. So here's hoping for this one.

Super Smash Bros Brawl - The sequel to two of the best party games I've ever played (what's more fun than Nintendo mascots beating each other up on familiar ground?) has been a long time in coming. Melee was released back in 2001 and was just as fun as the original, with the new characters and stages, I'm hoping that Brawl will be worth the wait.

Half Life 2: Episode 3 - Episode 2 was so much better paced than Episode 1 was and was just a fun romp all around I thought, with the exception of some moments in the mines fighting Ant Lions. The tie-ins to Portal that Episode 3 is looking to have, and the possibility of the Portal Gun returning has a lot of potential there.

Spore - Assuming this one ever comes out (last I heard Spring of 2008 was likely) it has looked great. The variety of gameplay and the creativity it's aiming to present just looks great, but it has years of hype to live up to, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Frontlines: Fuel of War - A Battlefield style game, by the guys who made the stunning Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942. Battlefield 2142 was sadly flawed and had an unfinished feel, Quake Wars hasn't done much for me, and the Battlefield and Battlefield 2 games have gotten old. So I really hope that this game will be be interesting, since I really do like the large scale teamwork based war games.

There are some other ones out there. STALKER: Clear Sky, Empire: Total War, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 among others, but have to wait and see. 2007 was a great year for gaming, not sure how 2008 is looking, but if Spore lands next year, and Episode 3 also comes out, along with the other titles I named, it might be just as good a year. And there's always the surprises...

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - I've always wanted a more fleshed-out version of the adventure mode in Melee. Not only is Brawl going to have that, but a co-op mode as well. Pure awesome.

Devil May Cry 4 - Never actually played Devil May Cry before, but I like action-heavy, hard games, and I've played and thoroughly enjoyed Van Helsing, which supposedly is a weak imitation of the series.

Starcraft 2 - Hell, it's about time.

The obligatory StarFox and F-Zero games yet to be announced for the Wii.

GTA - reason for buying an xbox. Lets hope it lives up to the high standards of voice acting of the last two games.

Spore - really a no-brainer. This game even at it's worst will probably restore my faith in simulation games which was washed away when the new Sim City (not Sim Societies) introduced "The Sims" into the mix.

That's it, the rest of the games I can wait for until they are done. Really, this holiday season killed my desire to play anything except Civilization IV and TF2.

And? (Raises eyebrow)

Anyways, I'm sort of cautious around Fallout 3. Number 1 and 2 are my two favourite games. They gave you freedom to play the game how you want to, something rarely done these days. Plus it was done by the guys who did Oblivion, and lets not arguee, but that game was a tad linear. When I say a tad, I mean alot.

I'm one of the few people in the world who haven't given up any hope for a Golden Sun 3! (actually it's Golden sun 2 since "Golden sun:the lost age" had no "2" in it's name)
Never stop dreaming,I suppose...

I want a Portal 2, but it might not be happening.

Right now, I'm looking toward HL2: EP3, and Project Origin, the TRUE sequel to FEAR.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl sounds like a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to playing.

Metal Gear Solid 4 seems to have yet another great cinematic story on its hands and I can't wait to get a hold of that as well.

On the MMO front, Warhammer Online tops my list.
