What an absolutely terrible idea! Seriously, I remember watching these as a kid and now they're just going to ruin them. Why don't they show the old episodes? Were they too violent?
My thoughts exactly.HT_Black said:______________________________![]()

Yeah, I totally can't wait for it. It'll be awesome, just like that Tom & Jerry movie where they talked, performed shitty musical numbers, and talked about how awesome it was that they were friends instead of doing interesting things. Thanks, WB. Thanks for spending the time and effort on reviving a property that stopepd being good a year before it died the FIRST time.
And by thanks, I mean **** you.
Ah, yes, the reason I stopped watching basic-cable anime.Maraveno said:http://www.vgcats.com/comics/images/050418.jpgThe Gentleman said:Explain please. I haven't watched anime on basic cable for a long time (thank you Netflix and internet).Maraveno said:So it's the same like airing anime on american tv?The Gentleman said:Chuck Jones is dead. Why can't they let him rest in peace?
Post-NYTimes reading: Okay, I'm a little less paniked and now just mad. They can never cover the material that the original catoons covered (which regularly referenced alcohol, gambiling, smoking, and hoo-I mean-"loose women") because of the threat of lawsuit or parental retaliation.
I've heard enough BAIL NOW WHILST YOU STILL CAN
Allthough that misses out on the points of gore and actual death

Can't we just let our childhood memories rest in piece?
If they were bringing back the old Loony Toons I would be ecstatic, but this... it just sounds too much like a sitcom, and I will cry if my childhood memories are reduced to that.
