Losing Faith In Youtube's Community...

Okay, So I'm on Youtube, searching for some stuff, when I decide to look for the FFVII Tech Demo. I click on numerous things when I click on one claiming it was an official trailer. It was a rick roll. BUT he also called the viewers an offensive word, so I responded saying it was uncalled for and the word made him a Homophobe, but then he replied with another Homophobic AND Severely Racist Comment.

I lose faith in Youtube he more I go on. Does anyone else think Youtube's Community has fallen down to idiotic levels?

Oh and another thing, I can't Flag his comment as being offensive. Youtube doesn't let me, so there is a great Flaw right there.

Actually, it has been above it when Butchy Kid and Mr Safety were doing well, as well as Kipkay, Charles Trippey, Kassem G and Ericmansuper. But I really am starting to hate Youtubes community.

I guess it fell when Fred came on to the scene, but that's a bit harsh on him, he is not as idiotic as some of the Youtubers on there.

I'm guessing that user visits Encyclopedia Dramatica too much, judging by the way he talks. Maybe I'm wrong, just guessing. And yes, I agree with you.

If youtube were to take down the video for offensive language, they would be hypocritical asshats for letting thousands of other videos stay up. It's not against the T&A to post rickrolls. So long as it doesn't violate the T&A the youtube moderation can't do crap about it.

Also, raging over rickrolls means you really need to chill out, because people rarely ever do anymore. I'm quite certain his "homophobic" and "racist" comments were just troll comments specifically placed there to piss you off.

The thing I'm pissed off mainly about is that I can't report him for Racist and Homophobic Comments. I don't care about rick roll, and I don't mind offensive language in videos, as long as it isn't aimed at the viewer and is used responsibly. This guy took it too far, and whether it was a troll comment or not, it does not excuse his behavior.

I'm pretty sure you can, that's why you have the flag button below videos. Youtube has moderation, it's just heavily user based. so really if you want to complain about the idiots then maybe do something about it and use that handy report button. you also have control over the individual commenters through the thumbs system.
