So i've had this issue starting about a couple of weeks after I got this PC, when playing those highly intensive games such as Planetside 2 and Battlefield, after roughly half an hour to an hour of playing my video will randomly drop out with the game still playing and the audio with it, this had lead me to believe it's some random loss of video signal, any ideas?

System Specs-
AMD FX 6300 Black Edition
Windows 7
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
8GB DDR3 1333mhz (1x8GB)
500GB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
AMD HD Radeon 7870
Onboard 7.1 Audio
Zalman Z3 Plus
450W Corsair VS
Zalman CNPS5X Performa

EDIT: I am playing all of these games on max graphics

Does it restore itself to normal when you quit the game?
If it's loss of signal your monitor will automatically enter standby mode, and its led will either start flashing or change colour. Does this happen at all? Try a different port on your graphics card.
You should also run CPUID HWmonitor when playing a game and post the temperatures, though I doubt you'll have any temp issues with a new system.

That's weird. At first I thought it may be hardware related but HDTVs are not renowned for PC gaming use. Have you tried using DVI instead of HDMI?

Are you overclocking? If so, lose the GPU overclock and try again.

I had a similar thing with Crysis 2 when I had an overclocked GPU but hadn't upped the voltage enough in Afterburner.
Would loose video but the game itself would continue to run with audio. Only for 10-15 seconds though - after that either the GPU would restart and I'd be able to play, or it would crash entirely.
