I gave up just before the end of season 3 I think. Not because I got bored with the series, I just gave up on TV as a whole around then.

Funny enough LOST is what got me back into TV (well the little I watch it). First show in a long time I followed episode by episode.

LOST is a great way to describe the plot of the show. Seriously, it's a badly written, poorly developed show done by the most over-rated director in Hollywood. J.J. Abrams has never directed anything good (with the possible exception of Alias, as I haven't seen that show). His entire directing philosophy is "Why not". Why did the cameraman and that one chick follow the main character back into the city in "Cloverfield?" Why not. Why does Red Matter exist, and why can it create black holes? Why do we have all these lens flares? Why not. J.J. Abrams really pissed me off.
