What is your opinion on love biting? simple question right?

My opinion is that they can be romantic and cute but over all very sweet in the sense that you trust your partner enough to have their jaw around your neck; potenially your jugular and I think there is something worth valuing in that instinctive disregard due to openness with another person.

So what's your views and stories on love biting?

Had a girlfriend once who loved love biting(heh). I didn't mind, but I'm not a fan.
As for stories... well, let's just say she bit me in the wrong place one time.

It tends to be the territory of teeny boppers. With experience there are better ways to express romance, affection, and trust.
But wouldn't not trying such an act because of the people who soil it be depraving your partner of an experience there fore you have ignorantly shown no tact or care towards your loved one in that decision and inadvertently went one step forward and two steps back trying to be 'Experienced'?

as long as it's not hard enough to hurt/draw blood and she stays away from certain areas, I'm fine with a little biting.

I enjoy it a lot, actually. The huge number of marks currently on my shoulder would go to show that. My girlfriend's a bit of a biter.

I find it disturbing that doing an action that can cause harm can be construed into a sign of affection.

As a masochist... yes, I do enjoy being bitten, especially when hard enough for it to hurt.

As for biting, I'll do it if the woman in question wants it.

I have no idea what you mean by "the people who soil it". It's just an imature act unless you happen to be a cat.

There are lots of things you don't have to do to become experienced. For example you don't need to eat feces.

Nothing forces you to do every little thing that pops into your head. If you want to bite someone, you can... I was about to say its harmless but its actually not. Still, its low harm as long as you don't break the skin. That doesn't change the fact that you won't be doing it in a few years because you will have learned better. So that still makes it teenybopper territory, not something romantic and wonderful.
"Age is but the shackles of the wise if not in abundance" Who are you to decide if it is or if it is not romantic or wonderful? Its your opinion not fact. Remember that. And how is it immature? Please elaborate on that one because I quite frankly don't see how the act itself can be immature.

I think its gross.
Its more of a teenagery type of thing.
My current boyfriend has never given me a lovebite and I dont think I'd ever want one.

My girlfriend's neck is very sensitive, so she enjoys me kissing there anyway, and while I don't ever intend to bite her, once I got a bit.. carried away. The text next morning was absolutely hilarious; "X, I'm going to kill you!". However she loves biting me, and I quite like the feeling, so long as it isn't in too public of a place.

Love biting? Umm ... I don't think so.

Sounds to me like the people who would do this have voraphilia. (Google it.)

Uh, I'm not sure what you mean. I've never bitten someone's neck, and neither has my girlfriend, but we've nibbled on each other. Does that count?

It feels nice, but I bruise easily. It's a bit embarrassing to walk around looking like an off-colour giraffe. I don't mind doing it, because it seems to hasten other, more intimate things. But it pays to be gentle.
