I only play "Hardcore" mode on it, But does anyone notice its tough to have a really bad game that turns you off playing it, Cos that shit happens alot in other FPS but bad company, you have a decent or awesome game. IS it just me to notice it?

No. The game is broken and not fun to play, it's a disgrace to the Battlefield series.

DICE really need to stop sucking at their jobs.

It emanated repetition for me - more than COD and Halo.
Depends if you play the various game types, switch it up enough

I found it fun, and while mildly unbalanced it didn't quite reach the level of "broken".

I have, however, not played it in a few weeks (RDR is so addicting), so has there been an update or something?

Hardcore sniping is one of the most fun things in gaming ever.

It's pretty good, but that's that. It's not a mold-breaker, the single player campaign is generally a failure and while Battlefield is, of course, an MP series, Bad Company 2 is by no means perfect.

Why was I unable to extract any sense out of that?

Are you saying you LIKE BC2 because it's hard or you think it's no good because it's hard, but you play it on hardcore...? Or are you saying you find it tough to play a game which you don't enjoy playing? In which case... uh... eh?

For what it's worth I enjoyed it but it grew old quite quickly... The sniper is over powered and there's a distinct lack of any squad play... I appreciate their attempts to corral players to make the game work but sadly online gamers are generally more interested in statpadding than accomplishing the mission in hand.

Well I have yet to play onslought but it sounds fun if a bit too much like very other wave based Co-Op. I never said it was perfect but I have never said that **** is spamming the M21, or stupid Thermal. Its a multiplayer game for the day to day player who doent want to put up with THE MASSIVE IMPERFECTIONS PRESENT IN COD AND HALO anyone agruing different need to take another look. So its not perfect no game is but its "flaws" arent coding like that javilan and semtex crap in cod they are simply different things although I will admit Knifing is gay

Haha someone wants to argue about hardcore gaming it seems, Its a mode without the hud and enemies are easier to take down then again so are you so its much more balanced in my opinion. So that why I play it and stop looking for a fight

It ain't BF3 but it'll do, for one because killing a dude by demolishing the wall he's hiding behind does not get old.

Sigh... Ok, I've played BC2 quite a lot on hardcore, although I don't profess to be any good at it, I actually edited my post to put a little more substance into what I had to say...

I personally prefer the Arma II simulation style of game as I guess I'm more of a strategic player.

Anyway - I just have no idea what you were trying to say, and still don't. I don't know where you get the idea I was looking for a fight. Calm down and use sentences.

what i think dude is trying to say is that its hard to have a game that makes you Ragequit like cod/halo and that you always have a good game.

OT:for the short period i played BC 2 i enjoyed it i started on hardcore (like i do with all FPS) i also really enjoyed the multiplayer i found it more exciting than COD.

EDIT: please correct me if im wrong about what your trying to explain

I dunno, BC1 was an awesome change of pace for me, with its massive open levels and huge battles, but BC2 just felt like CoD with tanks, which isn't a good thing.

For me the online shooter that really keeps me playing it Killzone 2. It's so hard to criticize it when you run around a corner and eplode someones face with a shotgun. It's extra satisfying than in other games.

DICE really need to stop sucking at their jobs.
I found it fun, and while mildly unbalanced it didn't quite reach the level of "broken".
It isn't as much the balance of the weapons as it is the permanent lag, this happens all the time: I shoot someone (mostly with a sniper rifle), I see the blood spray out of him, but because of lag, he doesn't take any damage, sometimes I hear that "pling" sound when you get a head shot, but it's me who was shot, I can even see the blood, but I don't die or take any damage. It's something DICE programmed the game with.

But there are numerous other things that add up to a broken game, at least for me and many others, especially on PC.

Oh, I play on PS3. I did hear that it's gotten a lot laggier recently, and that many people switched over to the UK servers, as they were far less laggy. Don't know were you are, but that might make it better.

Are you kidding me?! I've played all the BF games on release, and I haven't had that much fun with a game of the series since Battlefield 2!

Ah well... opinions.

I found that every map was worth about 2 in COD. Adding vehicles and destruction means that things change a LOT. In COD nothing changes. I got to rank 24 and got bored whereas in Bad CO.2 I'm still going.
