Backyard baseball series (on DS), it features one of the most unintuitive running, hitting, pitching, and catching.... but I played it anyways ._.

Oh, and while I'm at it, FF VIII. A lot of people hated this game, but I loved it, the draw and junction system was pretty fun, and triple triad has a surprising replay value =D

I liked Two Worlds, it was pretty low.

I loved Fury, but the company went bankrupt, they made bad choices and the consumer suffered. Fury had the best combat system I have ever been honored to play with, enticing gametypes, and a ladder system for guild teams to pwn. It was so good, the devs just couldn't handle balance, and the game went under. All the hours I put into skills and gear were gone, and they made the game free to play. Where'd my 50$ go?

Other than those i dont really know what games were even bad rated, and most of the games I buy are based off of good ratings that I see them getting: GTA4, Mass Effect, Persona 3 FES, etc.

The MegaMan Battle Network series. I'm embarrassed to say it, but even though the storyline was gayer than a fashion gimp at the Mardi Gras, the gameplay was so addictively fun that I just couldn't stop playing them (at least, until I finished Battle network 6).

And this news just in: AirMan still sucks.

Everyone seems to hate FFV, but that was one of my favourites.
Oh and I loved Red Steel, bad and clunky but I played it solidly.
Lastly, I loved Sin episodes: Emergence - it was something so fresh, and getting the original Sin with it was a surprise. Too bad the other episodes aren't coming out.

Yeah...I kind of enjoyed those games, up until every game's freaking unsolveable puzzle (you know what I mean, if you've played them), then I'd go to Gamestop and sneak a peak of how to solve it in a game guide.

Edit: Sorry about the double post, my computer's been doing that a lot lately, anyone know how to stop it?

SAGA Frontier, it got around 5-7 when it was reviewed and I can't really argue with the score, it has huge flaws, but I still found it fun and enjoyable once you figure out how to break the game.

I'm kind of stunned by how much I'm enjoying Myst DS (5/10). I think it's because I'm paying attention to the plot a lot more than when I just stared at the scenery 20 years ago.

Not sure what a newcomer to the series would think, but it's like re-reading a book and finding new stuff to enjoy for me.

You're not alone. FFVIII is probably my favourite final fantasy game due to it's unqiue gameplay which differentiated itself from the other final fantasy games. Unfortunately I never finished it due to the game crashing on the final boss. :(

.hack//GU is a game I absolutely love and I don't care what the rating says, it's one of the best rpg game I've ever played. It's active battle system was fun especially when you get to his Xth form. The amount of combos you could do was endless. I admit the game was easy, but who cares. It was all about the intricate story line that kept you wanting for more with characters you'll love to the very end.

GU got bad scores? Wierd... that series rocked. Especially when compared to the original series.

I'd say mine would have to be Tri-Ace's Radiata Stories.

Radiata rates at 75 on Metacritic, I don't think that counts as that low rated, I liked it though.
