Wait you mean the original? The first dmc was awesome and had one of the best ratings ever. Unless you're talking about dmc 2 (which sucked) then you have to make an argument as to why you liked it over the others.

GU got bad scores? Wierd... that series rocked. Especially when compared to the original series.

I'd say mine would have to be Tri-Ace's Radiata Stories.
Yeah, overall the series got a 5/10. Maybe because of repetitive gameplay and it's in vols.

Radiata Stories was a good game and was not a low rated game. It's an underrated game, but definetely not low rated.

Oh, and while I'm at it, FF VIII. A lot of people hated this game, but I loved it, the draw and junction system was pretty fun, and triple triad has a surprising replay value =D
You're not alone. FFVIII is probably my favourite final fantasy game due to it's unqiue gameplay which differentiated itself from the other final fantasy games. Unfortunately I never finished it due to the game crashing on the final boss. :(

.hack//GU is a game I absolutely love and I don't care what the rating says, it's one of the best rpg game I've ever played. It's active battle system was fun especially when you get to his Xth form. The amount of combos you could do was endless. I admit the game was easy, but who cares. It was all about the intricate story line that kept you wanting for more with characters you'll love to the very end.
*SPOILERS*

It ends with a really creative dream sequence where Squall confronts his psychosis by being stranded in the Desert of Time until he collapses. He finally accepts that he needs other people in his life and Rinoa sorta sweeps in on some kind of time cloud and drags him back to the present.

Then it has an idiotic 8 minutes of fan service.

FFVIII wasn't poorly rated though, it just has a bad retro-active rap because of the Teen Soap Opera plot and the Junction system. I definately don't think it was a bad game though.

Haha thanks, but the powers of youtube have helped me to get over this problem.

Also I loved Raving Rabbid 2. Yeah sure, now it's not a Rayman game, but I don't care. The rabbids are awesome and should get their own game and what I mean is their own title. They're already famous enough to get publicity without having to rely on Rayman to do it.

Radiata rates at 75 on Metacritic, I don't think that counts as that low rated, I liked it though.
I know, it's kind of sad, but that really is the lowest rated game I can think of that I enjoyed. Guess I just usually agree with mainstream opinion. Except apparently in the case of GU

I'd have to also say Red Steel. I didn't buy it, but played multiplayer at a friend's house. Without wii control it would be an avergage but not bad shooter; with it it becomes slightly special and very enjoyable.

Army of Two. Me and my friend have a ton of fun with this game, and with the new DLC, more good times are sure to come.

Dragonball Z: Sagas. Putting aside the fact that the graphics were eye-rape and the last level made me want to tear my brain out and smack the devs with it, I couldn't help but love it.

Its a perfectly fine installment its just set in the future which had everyone complaining.

Star Wars: Master of the Teras Kasi for Playstation 1.

Reviews slammed it, but it's so satisfying to be able to throw a lightsaber at someone and keep them up in the air with a combo.

Ehrgiez (or whatever), the square fighting game where you could play as Tifa, Cloud, Sephiroth and there may have been another.

It reviewed badly, but it was fun playing as FF characters.

I meant mainly two and three.whenever they advertise in a game like that it kind of fucks it up. I still play one from timeto time

Minority Report.
Was terrible! Bad idea to make a platform brawler/shooter based on this film anyway, and the plot had little if anything to do with the film. The main character looked nothing like Tom Cruise and it was just generally stanky and poorly made. But when you'd defeated an enemy, they stuck around and you could pick them up and throw them around... Out of windows, through windows, onto cookers, into freezers, in front of trains, over balconies, through tables... I guess what I'm saying is that Minority Report was the best hardcore wrestling game I've ever played.

Shadow the Hedgehog. I don't get why everyone has a problem with it. The controls work fine and the guns arn't horrible. Sonic PS360, Heroes and Secret Rings are far worse.

The main problem with Shadow the Hedgehog is that it is not a Sonic game. Also, it took
Shadow's dramatic death in Sonic Adventure 2
and said, "Screw that." Can you understand why Sonic fans HATE that game now? Besides, a Sonic game with a serious storyline and guns is not a Sonic game, either.

shadow had a flash at the end of SA2. You could have easily said that was chaos control....which was not Sega's explanation (idiots).
