Also, it sounds like they have some daddy issues with Anonymous. Guess what Lulzsec? You're kinda doing the thing they hate.
Interestingly enough, wasn't anon recently announcing that they would want to work against LulzSec? To be honest, I think it's easy to get that "Anonymous actually works with us" endorsement, seeing that Anon is pretty much leaderless. So here's hoping that some parts of Anonymous have not changed their mind about beating Lulz.

If any government agent is killed due to this tomfoolery, the gloves will come off and the CIA, NSA and FBI are going to fuck some of them up.

These guys need to go read V for Vendetta, not just watch the movie and go 'We can do that, on the internets, for lulz!'

I'm just going to go with the flow and re-iterate what I've seen posted.

Smug smugness, sense of superiority, hackers are bad and durp durp der.

On a more serious point. I honestly don't mind, I hope they succeed even. It's a step towards showing everyone that the internet is unwieldy behemoth that's un-regulatable. Whats wrong with them flaunting that?

Apparently Lulzsec has already been doxed, or for those of you outside of the 4chan loop, they have been identified. Screen names, accounts on various sites (just names, no passwords), and pictures have been posted. Whether or not it's actually them remains to be seen.

I just can't believe some people... in a free country, ie the developed world, any government restrictions are in place for a reason. If you want oppression, look at the third world dictatorships in some places...people have fought and died to keep you free, and you repay them by throwing little hissyfits on the internet about government oppression and how you're going to "Make History" by hacking government sites and revealing potentially dangerous information? Assholes. No other word for it.

Let's break down the phrase "Classified due to National Security Concerns"
It means that keeping the document classified will help keep the nation secure.

"Together we can defend ourselves so that our privacy is not overrun by profiteering gluttons." But we'll totally invade your privacy because we think its funny.

Salutations Lulz Lizards,

As we're aware, the government and whitehat security terrorists across the world continue to dominate and control our Internet ocean. Sitting pretty on cargo bays full of corrupt booty, they think it's acceptable to condition and enslave all vessels in sight. Our Lulz Lizard battle fleet is now declaring immediate and unremitting war on the freedom-snatching moderators of 2011.

Welcome to Operation Anti-Security (#AntiSec) - we encourage any vessel, large or small, to open fire on any government or agency that crosses their path. We fully endorse the flaunting of the word "AntiSec" on any government website defacement or physical graffiti art. We encourage you to spread the word of AntiSec far and wide, for it will be remembered. To increase efforts, we are now teaming up with the Anonymous collective and all affiliated battleships.

Whether you're sailing with us or against us, whether you hold past grudges or a burning desire to sink our lone ship, we invite you to join the rebellion. Together we can defend ourselves so that our privacy is not overrun by profiteering gluttons. Your hat can be white, gray or black, your skin and race are not important. If you're aware of the corruption, expose it now, in the name of Anti-Security.

Top priority is to steal and leak any classified government information, including email spools and documentation. Prime targets are banks and other high-ranking establishments. If they try to censor our progress, we will obliterate the censor with cannonfire anointed with lizard blood.

It's now or never. Come aboard, we're expecting you...

History begins today.

Lulz Security,

Basically...I see zero good coming from this. Less than zero. Negative good will come from this.

Stealing and releasing 'any classified government information' isn't exposing corruption. Some of those things are classified for a reason. Like, you know, undercover operations where people would die if their position were compromised.

...Sooooo...yeah. What do you figure will come of this? Will they be ignored, or will people respond to their call for aid?
They are teaming up with AnonOps (The fucking mediawhores that claim responsibility for the proffessional hackers illigal actions) Its basicly a second group using DDOS, Not anymore of a threat than Lulzsec itself, which is basicly next to nothing.

Anonyops does not equal the Anonymous most people at least 'partially' support or understand.

Well, I gotta love the logic. So, they're a group that is pointing out how the security of internet sites is flawed and weak, which wouldn't really be an issue - since I and most people have no idea how to hack - if it weren't for assholes like these people. Not to mention that most people, myself included, would rather oppressive but safe internet moderation than allow internet vigilantes the ability to throw everyone's business into the street. God, if there's one type of person who deserves the absolute worst torture and punishment, its a hacker.

Here's how it will go down.

They'll attack a few government agencies and banks. In a few weeks they'll either get bored or caught.

I'd be surprised if this is still remembered by the end of the year.
Sony getting hacked was a pretty big landmark this year.. I guess if people remember that they will for a while tie them with those internet hackers who claimed responsibility.

Huh? LulzSec is doing another series of attacks? Pfft. Whatever. Huh? What was that part?
To increase efforts, we are now teaming up with the Anonymous collective and all affiliated battleships.
Alright guys, we need to build an exact copy of the government websites over here, and we have about 1 minute. Good luck!

Seriousness: If it's true that LulzSec and Anonymous are teaming up, we're all going to fucking die. LulzSec are good hackers (as they've proven in the past *Grumble grumble*), and on their own, going after the government is suicide. Going in with Anonymous, that's a whole other story. Personally, LulzSec can go swallow shards of glass while drinking battery acid, but Anonymous are good guys. They don't do anything specifically evil or dastardly, and they certainly don't just go around attacking random sites and agencies for no good reason. But this is different. If Operation: Anti-Security is real, then LulzSec has my full backing on this. They specifically stated that this is for internet freedom, and for that, they have my support on this. This is either going to end spectacularly, or in flames. Either way, there will be massive war. They are with Anonymous. They are Legion. Expect Them

Urgh all I can see happening from this is that some people going about there bussiness suddenly find their personal information online.
