Idiots! Have they said why on earth they are doing it to Sony besides the "lulz"? Work WITH people with low security if you want to help, by attacking you're just involving people who add restrictive crap.

LulzSec only does thing 'for the lulz'. However, I believe that their definition of 'lulz' is 'Kill 80% of the world's population through heart failure brought on by extreme rage.'

Mediafire links work...here would be a sample of what was on it:

[exposed sonybmg.be datbase]

NAME: dbSBPartnerBe

-- This target gave us LOLs as it provided internal release dates of records, barcodes, sales reports, and plaintext Sony employee passwords:

Lulzsec? never heard of em, are they some sort of anonymous wannabes cause that's the vibe I'm getting for them.
They're very against the idea that they're Anonymous, but they were the ones who: Brought down Sony Greece and Sony Japan, changed some articles on PBS as well as posting all of the admin's username and password information for PBS and all of it's affiliate sites, hacked Wall Street Journal, hacked the FBI (and plan on doing it again this Friday), among other things.
Wow, so their doing this for the "lulz" I presume, so basically their a worse version of anonymous who hack not to make a point but for the "Lulz"
That would be the idea, I guess. It seems like they just want to piss the most people off they possibly can, though. Who the hell attacks PBS? Seriously.
Well thankfully it was just a prank news story about Tupac and Biggie being alive in New Zealand.
They also posted the username and passwords of all PBS admins, among other varied information. Also...

Updated.

This...this isn't good. I mean, really not good.
They apparently attacked PBS because they did a show that talked about wikileaks and kind of slandered Julian Assange in the process. The "lulz" came from the Tupac story.

So they attacked SonyPictures rather than going for the PSN... haven't got the steel to go after the branch everyone assumed they would... and they didn't even have all the resources. Either they're a bunch of cowards, or they're blatantly lying to try to make themselves look tough.

They said they want to end Sony, all of Sony. Have to attack everything to accomplish that.

Er...you're kind of right and kind of wrong. They said they were going after Sony Music, not PSN.

You'd think after all this trouble Sony would actually try to find them.

this is hilarious
And you know they aren't trying to because...? I guess if other people getting inconvenienced is hilarious, then sure this is hilarious.

Because a proper multi-million company would have fucking found them already. It's not hard with the resources they have.

Precedent for this? I don't like baseless claims and I have no idea how all this works.

The exact quote was ?We?re working on another Sony operation?it?s the beginning of the end for Sony.?

They've attacked a couple branches so far.

I'd be really happy if someone hacked them and put an end to this nonsense.
Eh, someone tried a DDOS attack but LulzSec brought the site back up in about...five minutes. However that works.

So those are the pricks. I hope the government finds them and tortures them for what remains of their miserable lives.
