I'll admit I didn't get very far through the article, but I'm confused as to how the WBC even knows what World of Warcraft is. Don't they reject any technology that doesn't help them traumatise grieving widows?

http://www.godhatessinners.com/content.php?149-See-for-yourself-why-porn-is-VERY-bad-for-your-soul! - from the same website... i especially love the part where he writes that he and a bunch of other dudes send their kids and wives out of the house and looks at porn....TOO PROTECT THE CHILDREN!
I liked the bit where they talked about porn leading to masturbation... then go on to say how they're looking at porn but "really don't enjoy it, honest."

The work is also described as "satisfying." Sigh.

Please tell me that's a parody site. It LOOKS like it from the articles, but the comments almost seem to be taking it seriously.
No, they're very real and serious.

Wikipedia is probably the best place to get an idea oh who they are and what they do.

As a person who tries to use proven facts as much as I can I facepalmed.

As a religious person I facepalmed.

As a person who also likes to think about things in more than one thing I double facepalmed.

I do see why atheists have a problem with many of us christians... This just cements it.
That was pretty much my thoughts as I read it. Totally agree with you.
Should have worded my post better though... stupid Economics assignment taking up most of my brain power on this late Sydney Night!

So... is this a parody site or is it actually real? The first comment on the porn article is:

"Amber - Today, 07:54 AM
I always have to leave when the meetings are at my house. :X

I am glad these men are protecting innocent girls against the dangers of the Internet! :D"

That can't be real... can it?

And why have we switched back to the old captcha system!? I don't have a lambda key!

Who? Sorry if I'm not up to speed on this...
I know the feeling. What are they talking about?
Lulzsec is a group of hackers who hacked the Playstation Network, and they have been trying to hack all of these other websites, including this one.
It's too bad they don't get more punishment for all of this stuff they've done. Anyone's identity could've been stolen during the whole PSN hack, and that's a serious crime.

It's run by WBC? Well, that explains the level of dumbshit present... I can't wait until they mess with someone seriously unhinged.

"He is one of those brats who think it is cool to rape our beautiful American language and speak "1337" instead."
I like what this article is about, but whoever wrote this didn't even take the time to look up what the dominant language in the US is called... English.
That and the use of smilies makes it look like it was written by someone of a very young age.

Complete lack of reason and refusal to acknowledge any and all logic. Anyone who reads the bible can see its stupidity and numerous contradictions. In regards to the website, I came to the conclusion that it is a joke site making fun of the overly strict religious.

Best example of Poe's Law I've seen in awhile. I'm still unsure what to think about the site, but I feel the overwhelming need to sandblast my brain.

"Yet more proof porn and masturbation lead to eternal damnation!"
Hwhaaaaaaaaaat, how is that relevant?
I'm just being a picky ***** here, but I dislike the term
"Our beautiful American language."
I'm from England, it's our beautiful English. I know it's not relevant and I'm probably going to be pointed out as incorrect. Aaah well

Well thats either the worst troll website I have ever seen or the worst journalist I have ever seen. What a load of poor research and over opinionated middle aged approval. Dont get me wrong im no Lulzsec fanboy or even a supporter, I just think this is childishly opinionated.
Well, that's Westboro Baptist Church for you. I'm not clicking the link, but based on the URL, I'm sure it's them. That said, I'm glad to see the LulzSec thing pretty much over now.
Westboro is GodHatesFags. GodHatesSinners is a parody website that acts like a high strung religious fanatics blog for comedic effect.

Reverend Jim Jones is a parody of Fred Phelps, the leader of WBC.
Its just a troll site, not serious, but it's amusing that so many of you fell for it.
