I always thought that playing as a C-sec Policeman pre and post Citadel attack out on the actual wings where people live would be fun. Fighting drug trade and then later at the end, facing an army of geth. Evactuating civilians.andrew2696 said:

Wasn't Bioshock 2 essentially just like that? Bioshock 1 had Big daddies. So, some prototype big daddy gets his own story in Bioshock 2 as his own spin-off sequel that has $#!7 little to do with the original. Does 2K games already win this thread? XDSmartyShorts said:
Really, I think the (above mentioned) idea of a game where you play as a civilian in GTA world would be pretty good....if the aim of the game was to take the piss out of it, and was done as somewhat of a parody. You play the role of a civilian trying to live out daily life as an NPC, in the middle of a massive multiplayer GTA-type game, where players are constantly dicking you/each other over like players do in real life.

A Halo game where you play as one the Elites, watching the Covenants downfall through his eyes.
A Half Life game with a good story (I kid, I kid)
A kinect game that isn't complete crap. A fighting game might work. A 2d fighting game. Kind of like street fighter. that might work, if they do it right. Maybe you could perform the actions the button combinations imply the characters do in order to use special attacks.
My list goes on, but for the sake of not having 3 walls of text, I will not list the rest.

A Metal Gear spinoff wherein you played as the members of Fox-Hound or the Cobras on missions.
I've mentioned this idea before and it always gets good reception. Maybe give each member a individual chapter before a big finale for all of them (not sure how you could make Psycho Mantis' chapter remotely challenging though...). Big fan of the comic 'Last Days of Fox-Hound' here.
