Magneto to Star in Assassin's Creed Movie

I've always been cautious about the thought of an Assassin's Creed movie. It seems like the kind of series that a movie based on it will either be amazing or horrible. I'm praying for the former, especially considering that I like Fassbender.

It seems very likely that he is going to star as Desmond, which is a bit disappointing since I wanted to see Magneto stabbing people in the 11th/16th century.

Huh, first Peter Serafinawicz working on some publicity thing for the third game, now Fassbender attached to a film. They likey themselves some Brits it seems. We're hot property right now

Probably just making up for the trailers and such.

Could not have picked a better actor for this role. He's phenomenal.

If anything this could actually lead to the first good video game movie, especially if he's producing as well.

First thought: "THEY GOT IAN MCKELLEN?!"
Quick second thought following it up: "Ah wait, there's the young Magneto from the sequel"

Still cool though, he's a good actor. Fingers crossed for something good, but I'm keeping my expectations low. Reckon it'll make for smoething at least half decent though, it's not Ubisoft's first go at a movie and they didn't do absolutely terrible at the last one. Also, they've got a habit of doing things better the second time around
