Hey man that's great but question though.
At the beginning with the laundry, you used a piece of music.
Where did you get that from? I must know for I was hit by the nostalgia, but from where I don't know.
Is it Myst? I'm getting the feeling it's from Myst.
You are correct.

There is no "correct" order for the stages of grief, nor do they always occur.
However, the Kubler Ross model initially presented the stages in that order, yes.
Either way, fairly well put together and good observations. A bit on the long side for my taste, and I could do without some of the fluff, but you've got a good tone and voice in your narration that feels like it comes natural without just sounding like rambling.

Keep at it.
Glad you enjoyed, and glad I don't ramble. Always worry about that.

NO!!! Someone discovered my secret love of analysis of Zelda games!! Now I'll never finish my essay!!

But seriously, I will be looking forward to the next in this series simply because I love Majora's Mask so much and I did enjoy the commentary.

One thing I would complain about is the bits that feel like filler. Parts of the video just seem to accomplish nothing and feel like they are taking up time where it could be spent discussing other things. But, that aside, I will probably be on the look out for more videos in the future!

A Wild Icelandic Zigzagoon enters Forum Thread!

Now that I liked! You did a great job at analyzing the theme of the game in ways I wasn't even aware of until now. Great stuff, looking forward from seeing more stuff from you in the future.

A Wild Happy Icelandic Zigzagoon ran away!

Something I forgot to ask in my last post, has your channel been affected at all by Nintendo's mass copyright claims?

A video over 20 minutes on Youtube and I didn't get bored watching it, so I'm impressed. Majora's Mask is one of those games that deserves a closer look, and you do it well, so kudos.

Yo, I'll respond to yer big post a little later when I'm not exhausted, but well...

As far as I can tell, no. My gameplay channel (which is half nintendo's recent stuff) seems unaffected as well. I just hope it stays that way.

Okay, just finished watching, absolutely love it. You and the guy directly above my comment have great comedic chemistry on camera as well as in your let's play stuff.

Side note, good episode of MP today as well. Busy day for you guys huh?
More like a busy week for me and busy WEEKS for Mark. Mark's been work on part 2 of Majora for quite sometime and I've been doing most of the editing for MP except this week's since I was having a great deal of trouble with some footage we captured which may or may not premiere next week.

BI the way, it's something you all might find
O so
SHOCKing.

*Cough* Oh, God, that was cheesy... *Cough* I-I taste blood. I'm so sorry.
Ya'll really playing Bioshock? I bet Emcee's gonna be convulsing on the floor by the end of that symbolism wet dream.

Hells yeah we are. We decided to play infinite since everything that could be said about Bioshock 1 has already been said for the most part. Emcee wanted to go into it knowing as little about the game as possible, so please no spoilers! We haven't even shot anybody yet and he's already in love with the game.

There's something hilarious and tragic about this statement.

As a parting note, I can't help but wonder if the ambiguity you noted concerning the Gorons was a case of the text being a victim of its own media form. People asking you to do stuff for them doesn't stand out in a video game as much as it should because all the NPCs do it all the time. XD
That crossed my mind in the later part of editing, actually XD But then I realized that the Goron's in particular were begging for help. The Deku's didn't want help, they were just pissed, the Zora's had lost hope for the most part with the exception of the bassist (maybe) and were simply depressed. Ikana Valley just holds angry grudges and bitterly refuse to accept death. Since the Gorons are distinct in their begging, that's why I went along with it.

Great to see you doing more of this, brilliant work.

Edit: Now here's something interesting - if Majora is linked to death, why does his battle have 3 stages?
Thank you! And I see where you're going with this. There's a lot of routes. existence has three natural stages, birth, life, death. In addition, there's the old folklore of the three brothers of death, most famous recently in Harry Potter: The Deathly Hollows:

http://www.elliotnelson.net/2009/12/tale-of-three-brothers-legend-of.html

There's a lot different stories and angles on that, including an SCP, which is my current fav:

http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1440

I'm trying to find the original story that started all this, actually.

Also, I agree with the boss symbolism, everything there makes sense.

Hey we 'pists got a shout out! Hooray for acknowledgement by association :)

Good video, I'm glad we got to see you talk real about the goron part. Things like that can just punch you in the face unexpectedly sometimes. (Especially with songs for me)

I remember playing Majora's Mask again over winter break and getting hit pretty hard by the Anju and Kafei part due to things that have happened since I last played it. Same with the ending and some parts in Telltale's The Walking Dead.

As for the video, I'm a little sad you didn't go more in depth with the zoras. I think the story with Mikau, Lulu, and the eggs is worth looking at. Oh well, there's only so much time.

Looking forward to what you have to say about Ikana Canyon. There's so much to say. Pride, Violence, Denial, honor, false honor, peace, love, fear, war, loyalty. It's a treasure trove of themes and ideas :)

Your voices in the Ocarina of Time vid were awesome, and your guys's banter in the let's plays are great.

Hey, thanks! It's always satisfying to know that people enjoy our nonsensical antics. Thanks for watching! :)

Thanks yo, glad you liked.

And yesh, I look forward to talking about Ikana, and the ending. I actually just recorded all the last bits of footage, and was kinda excited and just how much it all reinforced my theories.

Yeah, love your stuff too man, keep it up.

Is nintendo breathing down MP's neck yet, by the way?
