Better than any other Zelda game, in my humble opinion. Change isn't that bad, and change is what made MM great. I even did an homage to it:

Additionally, it would also give cause to the Light Spirits in Twilight Princess being willing to allow Link to go after the Fused Shadows. While the dark magic did corrupt everyone that used it while it was still sealed away, Link's predecesor would have already confronted and overcome such a burden in the past.

Though, that would require Nintendo to have planned two console generations ahead, which is more credit than I'm willing to give them.

Well they almost certainly didn't plan it, but it would be a nice continuation of those themes at the very least. Actually, one of my favourite scenes in TP is when you talk to the lake spirit, who gives you a vision of what happened before.

It was the first time they hinted that maybe link could be corrupted by the power, and him falling to his knees after was remarkably affecting.

I was thinking about this game again. It's among my favorites [footnote]probably 3rd after Ocarina and Twilight Princess.[/footnote], but none of the temples in it would be among my faves, and one [footnote]Stone Tower. The Great Bay temple might be second.[/footnote] is my hands down least favorite. The dynamic world and its characters elevate it so much for me. The world outside the temples feels more alive than any other game in the series. It's a very different Zelda game, for sure.

OoT, TP, WW, MM

OoT was the game of my childhood and i still love it now
TP was a cool addition to OoT and it showed what the wii really could do
WW was okay, the weapons were cool but the sailing got tedious "but you could teleport between places" then whats the point in the sailing?
MM I never got into.

Wind Waker is on top, followed by Majora's Mask, Twilight, and Ocarina. Not that all of them aren't completely awesome and deserve to be played by everyone, but that's my personal list.
