I am getting sick of all the bitching about ME3's endings. I hated them and if Bioware release DLC for it then good but I cannot take the bitching any more so I have a challenge. Think up the crazist, most insane ending you can think of and post it. Here is mine.

Just as Shepard is about to pick one of the three option a planet sized, talking, pink elephant called Andy and his transvestite pixie lover Alan magically appear and kill all the Reapers with a duet of I would walk 500 miles by The Proclaimers.

PS. If you are looking in a thread that is about the ending of ME3 then you have no right to ***** about spoilers.

Garrus and shepard, kickin it on beach chairs, mai tais in hand, a spirited beach volley ball tournament is ongoing in the background

Garrus: It was looking ropey for a while, right up until you started pistol whipping harbinger, and the way you surfed his reaper corpse back into earths atmosphere, masterful.

Shepard: Damn straight Vakarian, I take no shit from AI's, No chance I'd listen to one of their three shitty solutions to their entirely manufactured problem of organics and synthetics, thats when I knew I had to get out there and start whippin reapers, shepard style.

Shepard and Vakarian fist bump, Miranda, Liara and ashley stop with the volley ball and begin to apply lotion...............liberally.

Khalid al Jhilani appears, camera drone in tow

"Commander shepard, how do you respond to the supporters of the "Starchilds" synthesis plan and their assertions that you have denied all sentient life the chance to evolve to the Apex of civilization?"

Garrus and Shepard look at each other for a second, calmy put down their drinks,

"I've had it with your snide insinuations!"

Double punch

The end......

Shepherd is given the chance to merge with a rogue reaper, becoming humanities ultimate weapon, their last hope.

He instead chooses to pimp it, and spends the rest of eternity alone on a planet attaching spinning pieces of shiny metal to the reaper.

Meteor Shower happens, space rocks fall, everyone dies. XD! Okay seriously though, at the final decision, Shepard says, "no... I have a fourth option," and rips some wires out of the Crucible, the whole think malfunctions and sends out a blast wave that kills all the Reapers, and through the shear power of awesomeness, Shepard survives then rides the wreakage of the Crucible onto Earth, then demands an en masse marathon of procreation to repopulate Earth. Huzzzah!!

Shepard uses the power of disco to destroy The Reapers, only for a massive army of lolcats to invade from Dimension Z and destroy Earth with their Sooper Walrus Cannon(TM), causing a massive rift in space and time that destroys the SWC(TM), forcing them to engage in a massive battle with the fleet Shepard created during the game, creating a diversion for The RAF to invade through the space/time rift, damaging The Normandy and stealing all of their cupcakes and biscuits. This enrages Garrus, who uses The Normandy's super cannon to destroy The Millenium Falcon, which appeared out of nowhere, only it instead hit The Death Star, which appeared a second later, taking the brunt of the shot and splitting into five.

This causes Napoleon to engage in a final battle with his heroes, Hannibal and Alexander The Great, for control of Proxima Centauri, which has a planet with massive quantites of Iytuives ore, which contains Element -1 and Element 578. The confusion and massive destruction and loss awakens LazerBear, who had been hibernating in Canada for a hundred years (Canada survivng the destruction of Earth alongside Europe and Singapore, since they are all awesome), who promptly uses his patented Lazer(TM) to destroy the lolcat fleet and defeat Hannibal, allowing Alexander The Great to outflank Napoleon, saving the galaxy from the effects of failed invasions of Russia.

Shepard's fleet, with barely any ships left, rounds up all the sentient beings of the galaxy, stores away the last bits of Earth left, and follows LazerBear's lead to the Galaxy M-7868582478572875875 to start anew. The Milky Way begins to merge with Andromeda as the newly cristened Ark Fleet escapes.

Credits roll, and then this video plays:

Ok, so I'm building off the indoctrination theory being at least partially true. Shepard wakes up, seriously wounded, after Harbinger's airstrike (He/she's managed to survive because 1: Harbinger wasn't using his main gun, which would have destroyed the Conduit as well which Harbinger needs to process all his new thralls with. The blasts came from smaller auxiliary lasers instead and 2: Shepard was only on the edge of the blast, it didn't hit him directly).

You survive whatever choice you made. However, what you chose dictates how much latent indoctrination is still present and how it presents itself, with hallucinations and voices in your head reflecting whether you chose Destroy, Control, or Synthesis.

Shepard, unable to move quickly or defend himself, then has to stealth his way to the conduit without being spotted by Reaper patrols and Husks. Your latent indoctrination will try to lead you astray and into the path of danger, so you need to be observant as to what's real in the world and what's trying to trick you.

If you reach the Conduit it teleports you right to the top of the Citadel tower, where you open the station's arms and let the Crucible in. This is when you discover the the Crucible is basically a giant supercomputer, the only thing in the Galaxy with enough processing power to hack into the Reaper mainframe itself, allowing you to literally get inside their 'mind' where they are most vulnerable. All it needs is someone to operate it, that someone being you.

So through the Crucible you upload your consciousness into the Reaper mainframe (this will play out very much like that mission with Legion on Rannoch, as well as ME2: Project Overlord). You fight your way though to the very depths of their collective consciousness, while they try and block/terminate you through various means. The final fight will be with Harbinger's 'avatar' inside the mainframe (exactly how this fight would play out I'm still thinking about). Once you've killed Harbinger, the loss of his consciousness from the mainframe momentarily 'stuns' the Reapers, essentially putting them on standby as they try and reach concensus on who their new leader will be.

This is where you get the choice between Destroy and Control. If you choose Destroy, the Reaper threat is wiped out for good. However, the consequence will be that Shepard dies, as his consciousness is deleted from the main frame along with the Reapers, and his body is left brain-dead. If you choose control, Shepard survives and the Reapers can also be commanded to help the Galaxy rebuild. However, Shepard is aware of the latent indoctrination, and can express through dialogue that trying to control the Reapers is a big risk, and may have unforeseen consequences in the future. It's up to you to decide whether your Shepard's survival makes that a risk you're willing to take.

In the ending cut scene the Reapers either keel over or declare their allegiance to Shepard depending on what you chose. Your overall Galactic readiness, as well as you rep with your crew mates, determines who survived and who died back on Earth. It will be possible to save all the major characters, but only if you've done pretty much everything (I wouldn't want to make it too easy on you :p) If your Shepard survives, you see them awake back in reality, get picked up by The Normandy (or Admiral Hackett if the Normandy gets destroyed, I'm going to make that an option) and rejoin the survivors. If you die, then it cuts to your funeral, held on Earth, with all the survivors present.

Roll credits

Well, this one isn't crazy. It's just an alternative ending for ME3 I made up. What do you think?

In order to stay on topic, my crazy ending would be, 'Shepard uses the Crucible to stream YouTube video's of kittens into the Reaper's minds, causing them to explode do to overload of the human response of adorableness' or something like that.

One of the Reapers turns out to be the surprise new love interest and if you choose it, all the Reapers stop the invasion as a wedding present.

Shepard challenges the Starchild to a children's card game with the stake being the souls of every Earthling vs the circuitry of every Reaper. Then it turns out that the Starchild has a secret eye that allows him to read Shepard's mind and know what card he's going to play, so he uses the fact he melded with Liara to swap souls between the two and ultimately defeat the Starchild with a lucky card placed by one for the other to find!

This sounds somewhat familiar...

I had a nice convo with someone on the BSN boards. Ideal ending:

Shepherd wakes up in an insane asylum, allies and villians turn out to be the staff, other patients, and sock puppets he made over the years. Instant win.

Damn, I was gonna do an ending about how the whole trilogy was built around a guy called Marauder Shields, and not actually Shep at all!

Nihlus Kryik flies out and hidden blades Shepard.
As Shepard lays dying he gasps "Of course I knew it would be you in the end".

This music starts up.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-09Jhlc7rOQ

Shepard's ghost rises out of his body and the camera spins around him in slow motion.

Then Nihlus and Shepard are slowly raised up on a platform while fighting to the end credits rising up the screen.
