Bear with me here for a long joke- I think you'll like it
So a frog walks into a bank one day. He scans around the back desks for someone to help him and spots a man in the corner of the bank not currently seeing anyone. The tag on his desk reading Walter Paddywack. The frog walks over to the desk and makes his presence and his intentions known.
"excuse me mister... uh 'Paddywack?' could you help me? I'd like to take out a loan"
The man, confused at the notion of a talking frog, yet not wanting to insult a potential client of course accepts and offers the frog a seat at his desk. The two talk a little back-and-forth about the weather and such; some polite chit-chat- as simply rushing to business would be quite rude. Finally, Mr. Paddywack inquires,
"so how much would you to take out for this loan?"
"I think $10,000 will do just well."
"ah yes thats a good sized amount- might I ask what the loan is for?"
"oh my pond is long past due for some serious renovation- not going to be cheap"
"I see, I see" Paddywack says as he clacks away at his computer
"Oh, nearly slipped my mind- your name would be?"
"Right, sorry should have introduced myself, name's Kermit Jagger"
"Hmmm.. I uh, any relation to Mick Jagger..?"
"Yea! he's actually my father!"
"...I didnt know he had a son, especially a..- well a son, yes"
"he doesn't talk about me all that much, plus not really all there anymore haha"
"yes.. yes, of course" Mr Paddywack mutters to himself, seeing as this loan is getting stranger and stranger.
"well we will need some form of collateral for the amount you're borrowing, do you have anything"
"I'm afraid I don't have much, but I do have this statue of a pink elephant, could that be worth something?"
"This is getting ridiculous", Mr Paddywack says to himself. He decides to consult the bank manager about what to do with this incredibly odd loan request. He takes the pink-elephant statue with him and says,
"Hmm I'll have to confer with my manager- Mr Chadwick- to see if we'll accept this, be right back"
Kermit Jagger adds, "oh yes! Chadwick is actually a family friend, could you say 'hi' to him for me??"
"..of course, yes"
** Mr. Paddywack enters Mr. Chadwick's office just as the manager is finishing up on a phone call.
"Ah yes, Paddywack, come in come in- what can I help you with?"
"Sorry to bother you sir, it's just... It's just I have a pending loan from a frog named.. Kermit Jagger, he says you know him? He's borrowing $10,000 but only has this pink elephant statue for collateral. I don't know if we'll take it- and frankly I don't even know what it is!!"
Mr Chadwick replies,
"It's a knick-knack, Paddywack- give the frog a loan. His Old Man was a Rolling Stone!"
