Well if you enjoy breaking the game with overpowered abilities be a vanguard and get Barrier or fortification from the loyalty skills , Charge + Barrier/Fortification = Win!

I'll likely be trying to get the cheevo for completing Lair of the Shadow Broker on Hardcore at some point so I'll consider that

My first playthrough on ME2 was as an Adept, and it's crazy fun. I mean.. you get to throw your enemies around, or shoot things around their cover, or if your really lame... you can shoot them...

It is hard to go wrong with the Vanguard class. Though infiltrator has some nifty sniping going on which works pretty well when combined with tech abilities.
