"Hunger"
I lurk in the back of your mind
Always pushing, always prodding
I dominate your actions
Never slowing, never stopping
You try to ignore my calls
You avoid, you elude
You attempt to resist my will
You desist, you eschew
Yet I remain in your psyche
I control, I command
Until you've given yourself over
to my mastery, my demand
The hole must be filled
You Covet, you Thrist
But there will never be an end
You Desire, you Lust
My desire is ungratifiable
My gluttony insatiable
My thirst unquenchable
My greed unfufillable
You cannot stop me
You cannot control me
You cannot persuade me
You cannot slow me down
For I am HUNGER
And I am never full

I wrote this a while back for/about my ex girlfriend.
Your gentle touch is ecstasy
But each touch tears me apart
The soft caress of your sweet lips
Like daggers to my heart
Your bright eyes, like pools of blue
I drown with every glance
Your bewitching smile is heavenly
And strikes me like a lance
My heart soars each time you're near
But you always let it fall
I'm in too deep and diving still
And you don't see at all
My futile longing goes unseen
I keep my pain inside
And kill myself against your love
In poetic suicide
