An Elder Scrolls MMO
Or perhaps just ormal Elder Scrolls, but you can eventually stumble upon or invite another player to your game and get some help along the way.
A S.T.A.L.K.E.R MMO would be cool as well, perhaps a bit teh same as the idea above, where you don't run into everyone else, but have some instances where you encounter another lpayer out there in the wild.

Steampunk western. Two worlds, Britain and America.

Britain would focus more on outlandish weapons, lazers and such.

America would be guns and bullets. RDR, basically.

The end game would be to collect pieces of this secret formula for your faction. No one knows what it does, only that it involves pirates and granola bars.

Classes would be a mech wielding religious zealot, an assassin, a priest, a politician, a gunslinger, a scientist, and a mechanic.

You can have as many characters as you want, and class only determines starting abilities.

All your characters interact at your home base, for example, a gunslinger could be your main, but a mechanic could repair your steam-cycle, and if you kill a member of the religions you could do a mission with the priest to redeem him.

There would also be trains that lay out track before them.

A zombie survival MMO. It would of course take place in a city, with the city being broken up into districts. Each district would have it's own characteristics(a suburban area, an industrial area, slums, etc). You start out with limited equipment and your starting equipment depends on what profession you choose your character to have. Professions include a police officer, a doctor, a repairman, a carpenter, a hobo, a chemist, a lawyer, an "average Joe", and many more. What profession you choose also determines which district you will start in(there are a few exceptions, such as the Average Joe but i'll get more into that later). No matter who you choose you get a map of the city. The map starts off with little detail, only having slight detail of the district that your character started in. Each profession of course has it's own advantages. As a cop you start with a gun and have easy access to your districts police station(as a cop you choose which district you stat in as each district has a police station). While playing as a hobo even though you start in the slums, your map has light detail of every district as hobos usually just wander around the city. They also can stomach foods that other classes couldn't eat. The most versatile profession is the Average Joe, as they basically have a clean slate. You pick where you start and even though they start with no real advantage, you can build them any way you want. However they can never get as good at doing things as the other classes(they can never be as good with guns as the cop, etc). You could also of course make your own safehouse to use as a base of operations. The point of the game is to explore the city and find clues on how to cure the virus that causes people to turn into zombies. You eventually would make your way to a special lab to make the cure, but are attacked by essentially the final boss monster. I don't really picture it as an MMO but more of a 4-8 player co-op game. I actually hope to make it one day. I have all of the details, stats, weapons, items, professions, story, monsters, basically everything thought out and written down. I just need to finish making the map of the city. The only thing i really need is a name.
