Ashes is a champion of justice and heroism, yet his name goes unappreciated by his charges. Not a man but a swirling cluster of ash, sand, dust and other random powders Ashes possesses amazing abilities matched by no other. He can twist and contort his body into all sorts of shapes and forms, seep through cracks, hurl parts of himself at attackers and miscreants. He is truly a slashing, smashing, sneaking guardian of the night.
yet he is constantly hampered and tortured by the fact he cannot last long in the sunlight. In order to combat this crippling weakness Ashes risks dissipating completely by journeying out into the world of high noon in his signature Roach hoodie, though his abilities are lackluster, often heaving out black haze and pus he persists with the limited power he has in order to protect the innocent. An impressive feat when coupled with the fact he must hide and suppress his powers in daylight further to avoid being detected by people of power, the last thing on his to do list is to end up in a testing facility or interrogation room.
