Half Life 2 episode 3.

But let's be realistic.

How about a game with an engaging story focused on interesting characters, with good voice acting and an abundance of dialog.

Also no cover, and no regenerating health.

Everything else would be icing on the cake,

Make it so that you do not know how to use every weapon you pick up with perfect accuracy as soon as you get it.

For example, if i pick up say a pistol then make it so that it takes me a while to change the clip. So like it would take 7 seconds to change the clip initially, but as if i keep using it then make it so that i 'learn' to reload quicker so after like 25 reloads then the time it takes me 5 seconds then after 50 times it goes to down to 4 seconds and so on and so on.

Yea so not really an idea for an FPS but meah i cant think of one right now :eek:)

id like to see designers take a indie approach to a fps and leave a lot to the imagination like LIMBO did. maybe have the player be an amnesiac and have to actually work out what happen themselves instead of getting to a certain part of the game and unlocking a chunk of memory.
