ah that doesn't help much at all does it?

Maybe you could ask your parents if you could attend public school for a year.

I guess you could just hang out with your friend's friends, maybe ask her to introduce you to some people.

but yea the best way to make friends outside the internet is through friends.
You could also join some sort of club, visit some sort of social event or just hit the bars (if you're old enough : \)

some examples?

join a DnD session held by a comic/hobby store, it's sort of nerdy but it's sort of fun and you'll meet some people

visit a convention; I went to a cosplay convention a few weeks ago and made a good hand full of friends there.

take an art class (or acting/music/whatever).
Oh dear..iv had some horrible experiences with d&d..there is a convention being held in a few days but its an "anthro"convention(anthro's are kinda scary)but i am part of a music class..and there is this one other girl in my music class..maybe i should hang out with her..but what if she doesn't want to hang out?
Hey, you never know unless you try?

I used to hang out at my local comicbook store a lot back in the day, and its amazing how many people you meet by just completely geeking out together :D Also don't expect every person you meet to become your friend. Most will most likely not :( But unless you meet people you don't gain friends, so the more people you interact with the more friends you get.

I also see that homeschooling of course inhibits your social circle quite a bit, so you need to focus more on meeting people other places.

Well....For quite a while now i have been having problems making friend's and as of now i only have one friend...but the main thing is i'm just to scared to make friends...in fact i don't even have any friends on this website. So basically what i'm trying to say is...is there an easy trick that will help me overcome my fear of being social?

I'll be your friend!, I am but a click away!, its that easy gorgeous :) just ask

sorry to say there isn't an "easy trick" to getting friends, we have all felt how you feel before. It feels awkward at the time but you'll make friends in time, and we are here for you.

A word of advice, being clingy isn't the cutest of looks. Acting interested, but not " secret stalker, I'M REMEMBERING EVERY WORD YOU'RE SAYING TO BRING UP IN CONVERSATION LATER ON" is key.

I'm glad you're getting somewhere. :') <3

your profile says you're a musician. Try going to open mic nights and talking to people there.
Also, if there are people you like, but don't hang out with them a lot, just saying hi and being friendly should help. [sub]what do I know I have done about 7 things with other people all year. [sub]go to lunch twice, go bowling, saw harry potter, went to the mall twice. Aw man only 6, but I'm supposed to do something big Sunday that should help me make friends[/sub][/sub]

Join activities outside school, and just strike a conversation about the activity, if that fails, do it again.
