Just like everybody else, I never played an M rated game before I was 18.
Where the hell did you grow up? I used to get picked on for not being allowed to play M rated games when I was twelve.
I also never saw an R-rated movie before I was 18, and never had an alcoholic beverage before I was of legal drinking age.

OOOOK.

Let's pluck a game out of the air... actually, take Fallout 3. This was a game intended to be flat out 18 game. I mean like everything that could make somethign 18 it would have. But then they censored it worldwide for the sake of higher sales. Now, while everyones favourite disgraced attorney and his associates at Fox would have said "this game is damaging our kids", they would perhaps see Fallout as a victory, forcing it to lower its content. But when you look at it, it's not the actually game thats been toned down in the slightest. All that's really been said to be removed is the part where you ja, drugs into your veins. But, as a result, this game is now a lower rating. Therefore, it will be easier for younger and eaily influenced (and younger people are more easily influence before any 11 year olds start bitching) people to get their mitts on this game which still habours the potentially harmful content. Admittedly, Fallout was a bad example due to the setting etc. Condemned is probably a better one.

how about we come up with a rating system that a retarded water beetle could understand, and then not have to compromise with our games. the rating system could be like a border around the game case that describes the content; WARNING THIS GAME INCLUDES GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, GORE, FOUL LANGUAGE AND SEXUAL CONTENT, have the now M games feature a red border T games can have a yellow border and E games can have a Green border
