Hello! gaming experts! We have a competion at my school, where you are supposed to make up your own mmo class, and you need to be creative and have alot of humor. But i got zero ideas, so i am in desperat need of help! I need to describe and motivate. Best regards!

Pick one: Weapons/Magic
Then just build from there, if weapons, do you want a class like a tank or thief.
if Magic, White magic or black magic.
Mix and match a few to create a class that is reasonable. Don't overpower your class, no one wants a superman.
Give this class a strength and a weakness.
And most importantly, just have fun, look at other MMO games and see what they have all done, collect ideas, pros and cons from them.

I alwys loved something like the Mesmer from Guildwars 2.
A illusion caster, confusing the enemy with clones of yourself that deal no damange but makes it hard to target the "real" you. Mixing it with phantoms who DO deal damage but are clear fakes. Both close range and long range capable.
I thought it was a really unique class.

There's one thing I rarely see done well, but I think would be pretty damn awesome. RIFT did it decently with the Chloromancer. A battle healer. And I do mean a healer that heals allies based on the attacks they do. Though I'd like to see a melee battle healer some time. Then again, making a class an attacker that heals with it's attacks is...quite a challenge to balance correctly.
