Making secondary characters in Skyrim (Xbox)

Hey guys i have skyrim for xbox and i'd like to try out another playstyle on one or two additional characters. How do i go about easily making multiple characters? What is the safest way not to affect my other saves? I heard you should turn auto-save off, is this true? Is it possible?

Just make another profile on your xbox. That's what I did.

I was considering that, but what happens if I fall in love with my new dude? I'd wish he was on my live account and be kicking myself for it haha.

Just make more save slots and don't relay on auto-save. Auto-save has 5 slots but will not overwrite manual saves. Just be careful you don't overwrite the other character.
