The PA comes to life again.
"Here's an update on the top products of the month. Firstly, orange ascots are back in fashion as long as you're blonde and male. Next, 'Crocs for Kids' are the latest craze, and finally, the Watermelon flavor has been voted the best flavor of gum. So get that gum quick before it all runs out!"

I flick through the book.
This doesn't make any sense. What does Stalin have to do with anything?

 

[Saltarius]

"This shit's mine."

I keep getting more fuckin' gum.

 

[Knife-28]

"Hey, I'm blond and male!" I jump out of the conviniently place ballpool store and set about gathering orange ascots.

"Wait, what's an ascot?"

 

[MinimanZombie]

You see a mannequin inside a store, wearing the very thing you're curious about.

Meanwhile, for Salt, the gum supplies seem endless. In fact, packets of gum seem to be reappearing in places you already looted.

 

[Saltarius]

"You know, my compulsive nature to seek and obtain gum is probably why I never had a girlfriend."

 

[MinimanZombie]

The PA in the store you're in turns on.
"Yeah, and it's probably why you grind your teeth too much. And why you missed prom. And why you're a loner."

 

[Saltarius]

"HEY SIGMA, ARE YOU GAY? ASKING FOR A FRIEND WHO ISN'T GAY"

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Hey maybe you should call Sister, give her another shot. I hear she's looking. Maybe."

 

[Saltarius]

"No."

 

[MinimanZombie]

The PA goes silent and shuts off. A few moments later the Mall wide PA turns back on to deliver a message.
"Please report to the Mall's simulated park, located by 'Al's Graveyard Supplies'."

 

[Saltarius]

I sigh and go to the park.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

I drag the robot's coffin to the park.

 

[Knife-28]

"..."

"Yes."

I show up to the park wearing an orange ascot.

I look at Knife.
"Where's Scooby and the other meddling kids?"

 

[Knife-28]

"Right behind you."

A billboard for 'Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed' falls from the upper reaches of the mall and embeds itself in the ground behind Trilby.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"You planned that didn't you, you bastard!"
I attempt to choke Knife with his ascot.

 

[Knife-28]

"No...shit....sherlock." I choke out, before dieing and respawning, still wearing the ascot.

I pelt Knife with melons.

 

[Sigma Castell]

I melon pelt with Knives.

 

[MinimanZombie]

The people at the park get to witness a different, crappier robot appear. It has a weird multi-instrument attached to it. It begins playing a fucked up funeral song, signalling Trilby to bury the first Robot.
