X just kinda rolls her eyes

"No...Zombie, listen, you can't remember any of this, but this is the Mall. It's a place where you can't die. A guy named Xot is overseeing us. A monster named FLUTHLU broke in and attacked Xot's co-worker, Sam G. Then we defeated it and...well I'm not proud to say it but I killed Xot. Is any of this ringing a bell?"

I look at the man who just burnt the books.

I twitch.
"Paddy?"

Diane slowly gets up, and looks at X, "Who are you?"

They both sit down on stools they drag out of the bar
Ryan "wonder if they remember"
X "probably"

They both say to Diane "sane and alive..."

I turn to the other man.
"Salt?"

I twitch again.

"Guys, what's happening to you? Why do none of you remember?"

Diane looks at X, "What are you talking about?"

There is a faint echo in Ryan's head, No afterlife!

I slowly unclip the blender. My hands move as if by muscle memory.
I make a smoothie.
"One mangoe and pear smoothie...", I mutter

"Zombie, Salt, tell me you remember."

"How the hell could I forget? We fought an eldritch abomination, I killed Xot, we formed the G-Team, you guys killed the Tengu...the wall..."

Diane closes her eyes, and looks through her memories.
