"I did stick to the plan. We were made, Zombie. He shot Joe and opened fire on Salt. I only came down here to make sure Salt's not been kidnapped, because I haven't heard from him in five minutes."

 

[Saltarius]

"STOP RUNNING AND WE'LL SHORTEN YOUR SENTENCE SANCHEZ!"

 

[Captain Anon]

i radio trilby "i think I've almost caught up to salt but i think he's two or three streets ahead of me. wait i heard something, ah! there he is i see salt, damn he's hauling ass" i jump down on to another building "Christ even through he's blind and he can damn well run when he wants to" i say before resuming the chase.

 

[MinimanZombie]

"I know Tril. I know. I was referring to the whole unit. Let's go. I found a new iPhone."
I open Apple maps.
"Shit."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"Nice phone Zombie, surprised apple's reach extends this far into space."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"I'm not. Now, the trail's gone cold, so let's just go back to Joe's and call the actual cops."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Good plan." I throw that phone on the ground, like the piece of shit that it is.
"This sounds like the time for a relevant song."

...
Nothing happens.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

I nudge the phone.
It just lies there, in a pool of standing water.
"Yeah, that thing is crap."
I head back to Joe's.

 

[RaNDM G]

"Neat." Knife snaps a picture of the cityscape, then steps forward and grabs the padlock, crushing it with his mechanical hand. Pushing open the gate, Knife continues down the walkway.

You step out over the walkway and out to a storage unit suspended on a cable system. There's a control panel next to you. You can open it, or cycle through containers.

"STOP RUNNING AND WE'LL SHORTEN YOUR SENTENCE SANCHEZ!"

As you run by, a hand from the dark points a Python at you.

"Drop it."

I head back to Joe's.

Joe leans up by the back door. He pushes his hand up to his stomach. A trail of blood flows down the street.

"Ah. It's alright. Bullet vest stopped the other one."

 

[Saltarius]

"...Listen. I'm giving you this one chance."

 

[RaNDM G]

The hand whips you on the back of the head and knocks you unconscious.

You wake up in the same spot moments later.

 

[Saltarius]

"Ergh. WHERE ARE YOU?"

 

[RaNDM G]

You hear footsteps echoing all around you.

 

[Saltarius]

I follow the nearest one, silently.

 

[Knife-28]

Knife cycles through the containers, checking the inside of each in turn.

 

[RaNDM G]

One in particular catches your eye.

That's at least a hundred kilos.

 

[Knife-28]

Knife let's out a low whistle, and digs into his jacket for a micro-bug, which he hides in the very back corner of the container. Knife steps out and shuts the container, then searches the remaining few.

 

[RaNDM G]

You cycle through for about three more minutes until you get to something completely different.

This container looks more like a small house. No doubt someone is living up here without a permit. You open the door and step inside.

 

[Knife-28]

Knife stares in awe and struggles with the age old investigator's question. Does he leave the scene and evidence intact, or score himself a few sweet guns. He eventually settles on the former, then tags the armoury and checks how many containers he has left to check.
