A door opens near Paddys head on the Paper mache tree.

"Yo. guise. Keep it down. Trying to sleep."

"any sufficiently advanced science is indistinguishable from magic"

 

[Saltarius]

"It's still science. If you're so magic, make a modem that'll connect me quickly so I can reconcile with Sister."

My phone floats out of my pocket and into Salt's hands.

"There's no service on this entire planet."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"you can't even see the screen to know that magic remember this thing got signal under this planet's crust I think it can cope with being elevated"

"The phone literally just told me there is no signal."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"that was Woon again or just your negativity" I take the phone back and dial Sister. it begins to ring. I hand the phone back to Salt.

 

[Saltarius]

"I swear if this is just her answering machine..."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"it won't be my fault she doesn't want to talk to you remember I don't know what you did but you obviously fucked up bad"
