"I'm good thanks."

"Okay, Look Gator, do you wanna come fight Arachnea with me?"

 

[Saltarius]

"What's it going to take with you dammit?"

 

[Paddy the Second]

"More than you can do."

"Nah, I'm makin' a killin' o'er here."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Suit yourself." I phone Paddy.
"I'm gonna go beat the shit out of Arachnea. Wanna come? Ask Salt too."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"Sure thing. Come one Salt we gotta help Zombie fight what I'm presuming is a giant brass mechanical spider."

 

[Saltarius]

"At least we can do something other than insult misguided teenagers."

"Ahem, I think you're forgetting the one per- one sec." Knife says, stepping away from the phone and throwing a blanket over Trilby. "That's better, now where was I? Oh, right, the one person you'll need to fight a giant fucking spider."

I walk up nonchalantly towards Knife.

"I heard "giant fucking spider" and "fight". I want in."

 

[Knife-28]

"Heh, sure thing mate." Knife says, shaking the newcomers hand, "I'm Knife 28, though just call me Knife, what's your name newbie?"

 

[DotSlash]

DotSlash. Feel free to call me Dot or Slash...
Probably Slash, cause Dot makes me sound female.
Dot shakes Knife's hand and smirks.

 

[Knife-28]

"Well Slash, while we're on the topic of introductions, that guy there," He points over at me, "Is also Knife. There's a long, tedious story involving alternate dimensions, paradox clones, ecetera. Short version is, he's an alternate version of me from this universe."
"Oi!" I interupt, "You're an alternate version of me."
"Yea yea, whichever works for you."

 

[DotSlash]

"So basically you're not supposed to exist twice in one realm, but do.
And the Mall's basically infinite, so I'm not surprised...
Either way, happy to work with both of you."
Slash preemptively reloads his black and red USP .45 pistols while looking into space.
His rapier's handle shines near his left hip.

" Hello Dot, I'm Paddy. I'm normally team wizard but magic's currently disabled so I'm catching up inmy other activity of taking lots of drugs. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Spoiler: Now let's bring you up to speed.

A crowd of unkillable, incredibly resourceful, emotionally sensitive Scenester dumbasses continues to expand outside the Mall. Meanwhile, Arachnea's spinnerettes are spreading through the world.

Nearby is the outpost Saddleblaze, which the Fighters have failed to defend from the horde. Saddleblaze stands between you and your objective, Arachnea. The sheriff and blacksmith of the town are willing to assist you.

The problem now is getting to Arachnea while still defending the Mall.

Since this is part of Zombie's questline, he decides how the battle will take place.

The players assist him and are able to change the course of events for better or worse.

The GM, that's me, controls the opposition.
