I sigh. "It's fine. Anything major happen to you?"

Invictus is the only life supporting planet in this system.

"Not really. I've just been running errands for my boss. He's been riding my ass telling me to go kill this and find that and kill this to get that and God it's so fucking menial. I don't even know what half this shit does."

I walk into the AI Core, eating a packet of crisps.

There are two other star systems in the Minos Wasteland. Arrae is surrounded by four planets; three are barren terrestrial worlds and the fourth is a gas giant. Fortis has three terrestrial worlds. The first world, Vir, is barren. Pietas has iron deposits richer than Mars, and houses research and mining stations. Aequitas is a terraformed desert world, though it relies on resources traded from Pietas and other systems.

There is a reason they call it a wasteland.

"Actually before we do anything, do you have a name?" I ask the AI.
