I wake up, and find myself in the middle of a burning training course of some description. "You know, all things considered this isn't that bad." I say to myself, before getting up and picking my way through the flames.

I continue to read the book.

Diamond is some coffee shop, angrily chugging espressos, growling curses.

"Diamond? Want make amends! Diamond?"

Diamond hears broken shouted loudly, gets into her car and drives elsewhere.

 

[Saltarius]

I sigh, pull out my revolver and shoot myself in the forehead. I respawn and land on the car, rolling off of it and hitting the ground.

"Wait! Want talk!"

Gets bored, sees Dune buggy on display, develops devilish grin...

I continue reading the book, ignoring everything else.

Diamond backs up and runs over Salt.

I respawn on the roof again.

"Wait! Please! Just want talk!"

Diamond swerves to shake Salt off.

 

[Saltarius]

I jam my knife into the roof of the car to hold on.

"Please! Am sorry!"

Diamond quickly goes into her glove compartment, finds a grenade and pulls the pin. She rolls out of her car while it explodes.

 

[Saltarius]

I die in the ensuing explosion, respawning by the burning wreckage.

"One chance. Please."

I finish reading, then look up at the explosion.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?" I yell at Diamond.

"Okay fuck this."
I tear everyone's souls from their body and consume them.

"Bullshit." Diamond answers, unperturbed by soul being torn out, "Ask the Korean."

 

[Saltarius]
