"Maybe... though I'm more worried about us not ACTUALLY giving him the soul, just sending it to Australia. The lawyers are probably going to jump on a technicality like that in order to make us give them our souls."
I shrug.
"Eh. Probably won't happen."

"I guess we'd have to. Then we could hand the dragon right over... Right. Let's do that."

I reach into a pocket, and phones begin pouring out.
"Uh... yes."

"Idiots all."

"Certainly, sir." the operator says.


"SPEAK, MORTAL!"

A hellportal opens up next to Tox and drags him and the dragon through to the demon's office.

"SO YOU ARE! PLACE THE DRAGON SOUL UPON MY DESK!

The demon indicates the large desk, which conveniently has a small set of steps to allow smaller beings, such as humans, to get up to the top.

I call Tox.

"Bring succubus back. Make trade of my soul in seven years."

 

[Saltarius]

"Bring a succubus back from Hell!"

 

[Sigma Castell]

I splice into the call.
"You want succubus? Pablo get you succubus, good cheap, straight from hell. How big you want hmmmmmm?"

 

[Saltarius]

"...Big?"

I go back to reading my alchemy books.

Tox eventually arrives at the top of the stairs.

"JUST PUT IT ANYWHERE!"

The demons looks down at the dragon.

"Wonderful. Hand it over."

The demon extends his clawed hands.

The demon takes the dragon, then absorbs its soul, leaving the body behind.

"YOUR DEBT HAS BEEN REPAID!"

The demon places the dragon's body next to Tox.

"YOU MAY TAKE THIS IF YOU WISH TO... I DUNNO, STUFF IT? BURY IT?"

"IT HAS BEEN ABSORBED INTO MY OWN, IMMENSE, SOUL!"

"MORE SOULS MEANS MORE POWER! THAT'S RATHER IMPORTANT OUT HERE! ALSO, WE USE SOULS LIKE CURRENCY, IF WE EVER NEED FAVOURS OR MATERIALS OR WHATEVER! THE STRONGER THE SOUL, THE BETTER!"
