What is a "Jupiter man?" I am going to assume it is not a man from a certain gas giant. Maybe everyone in florida is suffering a mild, slow form of heat stroke that manifests in mysterious ways. Maybe they have mercury in their food chain diet or LSD not completely filtered from their drinking water. Either way, seems a great opportunity for psychological/sociological study.
I can imagine the alligator feeling quite confused and insulted by this. Especially if it links the human eatery to meat manufacturing. They might take it a little personally.

I was wondering what a Jupiter man is too! I googled it and couldn't find anything. Do they actually have a town or country called "Jupiter" there?

I'm not sure but maybe it's in place to stop poaching but I'm not sure if Florida alligators are protected.

To be fair most states have ridiculous laws like this. for example my state it's illegal to sleep on top of a refrigerator while outside ( if you do it inside it fine)
